HOTELLI TOIVOLA — Hotel in Kemi-Tornio sub-region

I knew nothing about the hotel prior to arriving. I had simply googled a place that would go well for my long drive from Helsinki to Lapland. ||||When I went there I soon found out that it was a small hotel where the breakfast was served in another building (a grill kiosk owned by the same family family) , but only some 20 meters away. ||||The hotel had earlier been a teaching facility that had two year before been turned into a hotel and did not from outside appear to be very inviting, In fact the interior was nice and my room (which was one a small one and partly below the ground level) was decorated with good quality and taste!||||The breakfast - in the grill kiosk - was against all odds in fact very good!||||I enjoyed also the service which was friendly and smiling.||||For my purpose I should perhaps have rated them 5, but then again I do so very seldom. Nyt annan palautetta Hotellin puhelinpalvelusta itse paikanpäällä palvelu oli asiallista.

Hotelli Toivolan puhelinpalvelu aikaisin aamulla 5.7.2023 Sain puhelimessa erittäin ”tylyn” kohtelun. Olimme reissaamassa pohjoisessa ja keskiviikko aikaisin aamulla kun olimme tekemässä paluuta etelä-suomeen ja reittivaihtoehtoja oli kaksi, mennäkkö itä-suomen kautta vaiko Lännen kautta, rannikkoa pitkin. Otin avuksi Booking Komin ja tarkoitukseni oli varata hotelli Kemijärveltä ( tämä toinen vaihtoehto oli Kemi) , no tein varauksen ja sähköpostiini tuli vahvistus ”varauksesi vahvistettu Hotelli Toivola”. Menin katsomaan Googlen kautta vielä Hotellin tietoja ja en ymmärtänyt heti kun siinä oli osoitteena Kemi, no samassa viestissä oli puhelinnumero hotellille ja soitin välittömästi että olenko varannut Hotellin Kemistä. Tässä vaiheessa Hotelli Toivolan puhelimeen vastasi naisääni ( kertoi vain sukunimensä vastatessaan) ,tiedustelin että olenko keskustelemassa Hotelli Toivolaan, ja vastaus tuli hieman ”tylysti” tai niin koin, että on. Tiedustelin heti että olenko nyt rannikkokaupunki Kemissä, kun tarkoitukseni oli varata Itä-Suomeen Kemijärvelle, nainen tympääntyi tiedusteluuni, ( tuli mieleen että hän oli sitä mieltä että mitä tänne soittelet ja kyselet missä mikin kaupunki Suomessa on). Kysyin olisiko mahdollista tehdä peruutus ( siinä vaiheessa en ollut stekannut että Bookin Komin sivulla olikin että peruutus ei onnistu), ja naisääni sanoi tylysti että ei ole ja lisäsi että opi tekemään hotelli varaus, heippa, ja löi puhelimen kiinni.

Nyt halua sanoa tälle naisäänelle että opi sinä palvelemaan asiakasta puhelimessa, ja alla muuta totuus asiakaspalvelun perusasioista.

This refurbished hotel is a 20min walking from the city center. Rooms are spacious, well equipped, with kettle and safe, big bathroom as well, cleanliness is fine. The service and personal is super friendly and attentive. There is free coffee in the lobby and many places to sit there. There is a full equipped kitchen, where you can make your meal as well. Sauna, yes of course. The breakfast is included in the price and it happens in the restaurant next to the hotel, 1 meter.
