Gasthaus Patruuna Joutseno — Hotel in Lappeenranta sub-region

Joutseno is probably not the most beautiful place in Eastern Finland but it is conveniently located near Lappeenranta and the highway n:o 6. Patruuna is an old police station converted into a guest house. There are many free parking places around the house. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and also our dog was welcomed with a smile. Room (Deluxe) was ok, but not as big as I expected. There were two big armchairs making the room a bit tight. It would be better to have only one chair and maybe a small table to eat at. The location of the shower in the bathroom was weird, hard to figure out why it is mounted like that. Beds are ok. Some noise from the busy street was heard, but luckily it was quiet in the night. In descriptions there was a mention about possibility to have a breakfast at 9 euros price. Anyway, we were told that no breakfast will be served; this was a disappointment. Still, considering the price (67 euros+10 for a dog) this was a decent stay. Ночевали в большом номере, рассчитанном на 6 человек - две небольшие спальни с двумя кроватями, большая гостиная с диваном, ещё двумя кроватями и большим столом. От гостиной отходит полноценная кухня: холодильник с морозилкой, плита с духовкой, кофеварка, чайник (самого чая и кофе не видели), удобная просторная столешница. Есть базовая посуда для готовки, пара стаканов-тарелок и целая стопка одноразовой посуды. |В каждой комнате есть телевизор, кровати удобные, есть пара вентиляторов для жаркой погоды. |У дома бесплатная парковка, прямо напротив огромный S-market со всем необходимым для готовки.|Городок не самый примечательный, но где прогуляться вечером есть. |Из минусов - были какие-то проблемы с завтраком в гостинице (хотя с такой полноценной кухней это не было проблемой), не очень хорошо ловил основной гостиничный интернет, подключились к какому-то другому, и не работал замок на туалете. |В общем и целом, приятное и удобное место, для большой компании получается выгодно по цене + с такой кухней можно...
