I love this place, it's my third time here. First of all, this is Finland! Amazing nature full of life all year around, a fresh air, a beautiful sky, and wild animals and birds. When the night sky is clear, just look up ! There is no light pollution and you can easily observe our own galaxy - the Milky Way. Just Impressive.
Within 10 km the one can easily find a local ABC gas station and a 24/7 supermarket. In Finland it's a true treasure because almost all grocery shops in the vicinity are closed at 9 pm already ))
Bring your rods and spinnings to you trip and enjoy fishing any time of the year. Or you can rent it.
In springs and summers you can catch a roach and a bass(perch) in abundance almost at any place in the lake nearby (make sure to stock up on worms:) Also you can catch a pike with your spinning or a bream with a feeder (The average weight ~ 1kg, of course except the winter time because of the ice:), but no one canceled winter fishing!
After your fishiing you can cook the fish on a grill grid or in a local smokehouse.
Well-equipped and cosy houses. You can make your meals in your own kitchen or just order a prepared food in a local cafe. More of it, you can take advantage on local amenities and cook your homefood on a grill which is located near the lake. The houses are equipped with very comfortable beds, mattrasses, and everythiing you need during your trip.
Don't forget to try the Finish sauna, of course!

The family cottage we took was clean, and well equipped. For family of 4, size was sufficient, with 1 big bed, and a sofa bed. ||||The fishing pond was great! There are many huge active trouts, which keep taunting us, and the kids love fishing there. Fishing at the lake was fabulous as well, where we caught vendance.There are kayaks and boats to borrow, and we had great fun boating and fishing. Around the compound, there are many strawberry and blueberry plants where we enjoyed picking while we roam about. The hosts, Lisa and her dad are very friendly, and very helpful. They have a great cook as well, who made wonderful cookies. There is also Sam, the host's cute dog, kids love to visit and play with.||||I will definitely revisit Fish & Fun Village, and strongly recommend it as a safe and fun place to spend holidays with the family! ||||I will also recommend that to plan the holiday, more than 3 days, to enjoy the fishing, there are also several nice places to visit...

The village seems quite typical for the region and simple on arrival, which makes it more interesting to walk around and unfold it’s hidden places.||||The one thing you can notice straight away- the staff that lives there and help you during their stay does really live their dream and happy to share it with their guests and aren’t shy about it- from fishing to sauna, hiking and yoga, bbq and bonfire- the place helps you to free yourself from the pressure of outside world and enjoy the stillness of the lake and the harmony of the nature.||||The village is nicely built so you can follow your intuition navigating around it, eventually moving towards the lake. We stayed at “Hirvi” cottage and especially enjoyed the close proximity to the lake and sauna.
