Camping Lapinkylä is situated in the center of Utsjoki, next to Matkahuolto bus station, only 500 meters from River Tenojoki and Utsjoki hiking routes. They have an old log house, tiny new cabins (cottages), tent sites and caravan sites.||||We stayed in their charming old log house. The price was only 80 euros a night (two people). There are two rooms, a kitchenette and a bathroom in the log house. It can accommodate four people. Pets are allowed. Furniture is old and charming, even two old rocking chairs. The kitchenette includes a fridge, an electric stove, a microwave oven and some dishes.||||The bathroom of the log house is newly renovated. It looks very nice now, but it won't be good very long. There are wood panels but no any shower curtain. So wood parts are wet after taking a shower. Luckily there is a good ventilation and also a good underfloor heating in the bathroom. The water heater is too small. Only one person gets warm water in the shower. Then you have to wait until the heater warms more water.||||The electric heating of the log house is efficient. That is very important, because windows and the door aren't windproof. Soundproofing is quite weak, too.||||We loved this place! It is so historical and charming but still near all...
