What can I say... Such an inspiration! One of the most wonderful places I have lived in so far, although for just a few days. And I say "lived", because since I entered the main door I didn't feel like a mere customer, to whom you give the room keys and that's it: I was warmly welcomed by Kinga and Kevin, the two brave guys that run this place along with the other talented members of the staff, and from the first moment I realized this is a one-of-a-kind place.||Immersed in the quietness and wilderness of the North of Inari region, it's located off the beaten track as the activities they organize: I had the chance to experience artic skiing and meet a Sami reindeer herder simply living the moment, surrounded by nature and guided by people that respect it, promoting a mindful type of tourism. I had time to look around, have a chat on how it is to manage a place like this, recharge in one of their smallest yet super-cozy wooden cabins (but they offer plenty of other bigger accommodations for couples/groups etc.), and taste their delicious food.||If you find yourself nearby, you have to stop at least for a coffee... you will leave with a big smile and your heart full. It's so uplifting to see places - and people - like these out there, striving to do things differently day by day.||Thank you, four days were definitely not enough, I look forward to coming...

Kevin and Kinga, first of all thank you for this amazing vacation that you provided for us! My wife and I spend three nights with our camper van here. We somehow slipped through their booking restrictions as their camping site was completely booked out for a hunting dog exhibition. Even though this likely already caused a lot of stress for them, they instantly made us feel welcome and at home and organized a spot for us! Kevin and Kinga are amazing and super nice hosts. They also provided us with tips for our trips. They really make you feel at home and as part of the community they are building in the very north of Finnland. The property is already partly renovated by them and they continue to improve the property. The toilets are fine (just a little cold in September) but super clean. The shower is really nice (rainshower) and also super clean. There is also a spot to clean your dishes. They also have an amazing dog named Umi, she is just the sweetest. Plenty of hiking trails are really close by and also other activities are plentiful. We also got to see some awesome northern lights from the hammock, that overlooks the river and also points north. The overall package is 10/10 and we will definitely come back during winter and book one of...

We had an unforgettable experience here. Upon entering the 100‑year‑old restaurant, we were warmly welcomed by a friendly husky and the hospitable staff. Kinga, the owner, provided exceptional hospitality, allowing us to immerse ourselves in Lapland’s traditions through all our senses. The exhilarating husky sledding, followed by skiing that allowed us to fully enjoy the forest, and the delicious wild smoked salmon prepared by Kevin are memories we will cherish forever. The accommodation’s location was excellent, and witnessing the aurora borealis in the clear, tranquil surroundings was truly moving. The staff are friendly and passionate, taking great pride in what they offer. We hope this place continues to thrive, sharing the wonders of Lapland with many more visitors. We look forward to returning in the summer! We highly recommend this hidden gem as the perfect opportunity to experience Lapland’s breathtaking scenery, natural bounty, ancestral wisdom, and human warmth!

I had a great stay here after a through-hike in the wilderness area. Kinga and Kevin are really enthusiastic, happy and warm-hearted people who really made me feel at home even though they were super busy due to a big hunting dog event on the weekend I was staying. The food is tasty (e.g. fish and chips made from fresh fish) and the location is beautiful. Had a really nice day trip from Muotkanruoktu to Kiälláávääri top with beautiful scenery and at night I saw the northern lights above the river. There is a sauna next to the river so you could go from sauna to have a river bath, unfortunately the weather was too cold for me. The place is old and needs a lot of renovation but Kinga and Kevin are making it great one step at a time. The adventure cottage I stayed in didn’t have heating or running water, but is really homely. I can warmly recommend staying in Muotkan Ruoktu and I think it’s all the time becoming better with the renovations.
