Päivin Pirtti - Cafe and B&B — Hotel in Northern Lapland

Very good Bed & Breakfast place if you need/want to spend a night on your way north or south along E75, only 1 km aside the road. The place is owned/managed by middle-age couple and they have, to my understanding, only 3 rooms there. Two in the main house on second floor and one in separate 'sauna' building. Our room was very clean and beautiful and decorated with taste with 4 single beds. (The only thing that might bother someone, even if it did not bother us, was that our second floor room in main house did not have a door that one could lock. It was separated only by thick curtain from the stairway. I do not know about the other rooms. I am sure the room in separate building at least has a door with lock.) Breakfast was good: porridge, berries, yoghurt, wheat and rye bread, tomatoes, cucumber, cheese, ham, coffee, orange juice and I might forget something... There was also very friendly black puppy dog "Piki", which my children loved and played with (although of course for someone allergic or afraid of even very friendly dog it could be not ideal). My warmest recommendations...
