SUMMARY: 3 of 5. [Room-review of room 314, exclusive room, sea view..] Nice place but it does NOT deliver compared to pricelevel (it is dated!). I don't feel that I got in comparicy to what I payed, appr. 260 €/night. Adverised on www as Luxuary. It is not luxuary any longer, sorry!

ROOM 2,5 of 5 ☆ [based on price] No floorheating in bathroom. Temperature below 20 degr C at night/morning, not adjustable asked frontdesk after 1'st night of 4. Arriving Day 2 - no change. No desk, no pen/paper - even in a very big room. In desperate need of upgrading of room, toilets etc. Feels "tierd" and dated. Not at all as fresh as ex 330. (But fully paid for...) Housekeeping did not refill empty soap pumps. To many TV-channels are finishspoken, just a few englishspoken, no swedish spoken. Sofa-group seems (and fells when using it) to be like 25 years+ old AND used a lot. Jacuzzi in bathroom the only luxuary in my suit (45 mns to fill it up!!) - however tap water is not warm enough to keep the big jacuzzu warm enought until full and possibleto use the bubbles... Room very quiet - good. Malt inbetween the, former white, bricks in toilet - bad.

SPA: 5 of 5☆. Not very big but big enough, jacuzzi, pool and saknas and cold-pool, 12 °C. The best with my stay.

BREAKFAST 3 of 5. No omelett chef, no fresh orange juice, no cappucino nor espresso - just black coffe, no cold fresh salads. Bake Off breads of from frozen. To get to Main building and breakfast - You actually have to go outside, in the snow, cold weather - fully dressed... Every Day exakctly same on buffét, not making it "luxuary"... Opens late, 7 am! Scrambled eggs is not made from scratch, I'd say.

RECEPTION 4 of 5. Friendly and helpful but calling to get temperature fixad did not help until reminded after arriving day 2.

SERVICE: 2 of 5. *Bistro and bar at Hotel Buildning was CLOSED day 1 and 2!! Poor service for guests and apparently guest service is 2'nd in this case. Sadly for us! *Housekeeping ever 2'nd day olny!! If You don't tell front desk to do it Daily. This is due to enviromental statement from Hotel...Well Good Intention. It is if course a way to save money - and they don't even offer a bonus in reception store or bar for this to their guests as in US, Switzerland etc... New Good Buiseness for many Hotel after CV-19 - DON'T ACCEPT THIS!!

SUMMARY: 3 of 5. Nice place but it do NOT deliver compared to pricelevel (it is dated!). I don't feel that I got in comparicy to what I payed, appr. 260 €/night.

I can't refurbish room, nor change/update breakfast but what I could have a dialog with reception - I HAD that dialog during my stay.

BTW: No supermakts or restaurants near Hotel. Car recommended or...

The hotel was absolutely great, we had a very comfortable stay. The views were amazing, there was a beach for guests and a dock from which you could jump into the sea.

The manor was delightful, so beautiful from the inside and out. The breakfast was served there and it was absolutely amazing, it had everything one could possibly want. We also went to the manor restaurant, the menu was limited but the food was very good. Only down side is the food is a bit on the expensive side.

We stayed at the spa part of the hotel, we had two rooms, one standard and the other superior. Both rooms were great but the standard room did not have any air-conditioning. This was a big problem as the whole weekend there was over 30° outside, and keeping the window open due to the bugs was not an option.

Lastly we used a lot of the spa amenities. the massages and cryo therapy experience were great. However, the spa itself wasn't. It's too small for the size of the hotel, we ended up going only once during our 3 day stay because it was always so full. The time we did go, we only got to go into the big pool, as the jacuzzis, saunas, infrared rooms etc were all completely occupied.

Overall our stay was wonderful, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to get away from your busy life. The only things to note is that the hotel is a bit run down, the halls and elevators need to be renovated and all rooms in a 4 star hotel should have air-conditioning no matter if standard...

We stayed at the hotel 3 nights, rented a car at the Helsinki airport. We arrived Thursday evening and were offered Spa booking only for the next day, and we chose to book 3pm. We were glad to do so, at 3:30pm it started to be little crowded and by 4 pm, little overcrowded to our taste. I have to say that we managed to wiggle around and find a spot for us in jacuzzi, or sauna. But it kind of ruined the “relax vibe”. Saturday Spa situation was only worse. Breakfast is served in the Manor. It was lovely atmosphere the first day, mainly because we came very late and the crowd was gone. Only few other guests and us. I loved the piano music, very nice taste. Again the weekend felt little overwhelming. I enjoyed the salmon option for breakfast. Coffee was simple but nicely strong. We got no housekeeping in our room # 321 first 2 days, which was unexpected, but accepted. The hotel was a buzzing place. Room was dated, mainly the bathroom, but still nice. Shower door not properly latched. We had an extra bed in our room (40 EUR). Our teenager didn’t pack swimsuit, we went to Porvoo and did an easy quick shopping there. We went for several walks around the Hotel. The Bay Area is so lovely. But also a walk through the woods, there is a trail. And streetlights are on if you choose to go in the dark. Of course the snow makes the place more magic, it was a lovely experience just a short ride...

One of the best spa resorts to stay and spend good time with your near and dear ones. A relaxing holiday beside the sea and so close to nature. There are availability of rooms for pet as well. The normal spa is really good and recommended to be booked beforehand because of crowd. The spa treatment facilities are also good. Location is beside the bus stop, so can travel to the place through bus number 1 or 2 from porvoo bus station. However, there are 2 different hotels: 1. Is in the main haikko mansion 2. In the spa resort. Which is behind the mansion and in adjacent building. Good breakfast availability and there are 2 different restaurants in both the buildings and they offer really nice food options. Food quality and quantity both are sufficient and marks 4 star. We faced some small glitches with the room keys which was handled later, and lift is having some issues as well. Sometimes that doesn't work so if you get a room for which you have to use stairs and if you have luggage that's painful and they don't help much to carry the luggage. Apart from that we had really a nice and memorable time. A must visit place which dates back to 14th century.

Perfect location! But the Hotel/Spa is a rip-off!!! You see the nice house but you get the ugly 70s building and rooms. Food is just of cheap quality...there is a buffet which I try to find till I realized the bid which was in front of me is actually it. Breakfast is just low end quality...and we decided to leave it and go somewhere else. Funny enough the way back to helsinki the taxi which was called for us told us there is a special rate agreed with the hotel and no meter. The special rate was 15 Euro more then the taxi we took on the way there and was based on a meter. To me the rate is special but not in our favour and has a bad taste to it... My advice is to get a hotel in the nearby old town of Porvoo which is a beautiful and do a day trip to this area...walking the garden and get a drink at the main house. You get a lot better food options and experience...
