B & B Niemelä's house — Hotel in Rovaniemi sub-region

We have been there for two nights, starting from the 31st of december. We arrived at 18.30 from the airport and the owner was waiting for us outside the house. You can park safely in front of the house and use the electric plug to heat the car at night. The apartment (in the attic) was very large, with a spacious kitchen (fully equipped also with soap, paper...) and a big living room. The bedroom had comfortable single beds (we never found queen or king beds in lapland). The bathroom was very small and not very functional, but was ok for one night. We liked the spacious entrance which we used to dress up and warm our clothes. We loved the sight on the nordic ski trails outside the house. You need a car to join Rovaniemi's town center as it is 5 minutes drive from the b&b, but here you can feel the real finnish atmosphere as it is a nice and quiet residential area (in town center you will only find big grey flats) We didn't have a sauna, but most of the apartments of the b&b are bigger and have their private...

Anche se viene definito un B&B in realtà sono appartamenti, completamente accessoriati, suddivisi in cottage immersi in un bosco, di varie grandezze, costruiti completamente in legno, spaziosi e confortevoli. Noi abbiamo soggiornato nell’appartamento da 52 mq, composto da una camera da letto matrimoniale, un bagno, una sauna privata, un ampio salone con divano letto, un letto singolo, tv, ampia cucina con tavolo da pranzo i legno e panche. E’ inoltre presente un ampio terrazzo con affaccio sul bosco circostante. La cucina è ottimamente accessoriata, con stoviglie, asciugamani, lavastoviglie, microonde, tostapane, forno, piastre elettriche… in bagno è presente anche la lavatrice.||La scelta di soggiornare in un appartamento si è rivelata ottimale per vivere a pieno l’atmosfera invernale, facendo passeggiate nel bosco e divertendoci a giocare con la neve. La comodità è che pur essendo situati poco fuori dal centro di Rovaniemi, sono in realtà perfettamente collegati e in soli 10 minuti di pullman si giunge comodamente in pieno centro. In particolare l’appartamento è collegato al centro di Rovaniemi da due autobus (il n. 4 e il n. 14). ||Davvero un gioiellino insomma dove, al contrario degli ultramoderni alberghi situati in centro, non solo si respira la vera atmosfera lappone ma è possibile anche risparmiare...

4 if us stayed in this large 1 bed apartment for 4 nights. It was warm,clean and comfortable with everything you needed to have a relaxing stay including our own sauna.|The location was great. There are supermarkets within walking distance and a bus stop less than 2 mins away that go straight into the city centre. So no need for a car. Would recommend...
