Vekarit - Aparthotel in Rovaniemi — Hotel in Rovaniemi sub-region

We liked staying at LomaVekarit apartment. The location is quiet, yet convenient with easy access to different directions. At the booking, we were attracted by the slow combustion stove and sauna. Upon arrival we discovered that the fireplace is in the older apartments, whereas we were given one in the brand new complex without the fireplace. The new apartment has the sauna, which we enjoyed very much. Also, our apartment has under floor heating which made other heating obsolete, except for the atmosphere. The apartment is very clean and everything works. Info for anyone wanting to cook a meal; the stove has two burners, no oven, but the kitchen has a microwave. The bed is very comfortable and in the living room there is a very comfy sofa which can be converted into a generous size bed. Overall, we would come back here. As I love the fireplace, I would double check that my booked apartment has one. I would give four...

We have just arrived back home from a 2 day stay as a group of 12, we stayed in 3 separate apartments which are very well laid out and provide all we needed to make the stay very enjoyable. The apartments are spacious with full facilities including a sauna which helps after the -24 days.

Julia and Tahir couldn't of been more polite and helpful during our stay from providing lifts too and from airport and Santa village to chatting to the kids and helping with the rooms. I enjoyed my night here and wish I had more time to stay longer and explore the area, walking trails and private sauna.

I arrived on the late flight but it was easy to get into my apartment.

One note: I arrived to the airport at 11pm. There were no taxis waiting. I don't know if that is usual or not. Those of us who had not prearranged a ride had to call a taxi. Some people had trouble finding one or received a message that the wait might be a few hours. So plan ahead if you arrive late and need a taxi, especially if it...
