Hännilänsalmi Camping — Hotel in Saarijärvi-Viitasaari sub-region

A short review.

Even with a language barrier we managed to communicate just fine. The owners were very friendly and helped us with all of our questions.

We stayed one night and found everything that we needed. 2 people, 2 Motorcycle and 1 tent for 19€.

The restrooms and showers are old but very clean and nothing is broken. The kitchen is perfect, everything works. All in all. Not the newest camping spot but everything works and everything is clean.

Yes the street is very near but honestly what do you expect when booking a spot directly next to the street. It's like complaining that it's hot in a desert ;).

A lovely place to visit. Especially when the Finnish children are going to school again. They have vacation through june and july. When we visited this camping in. August it was so quiet there. We could hear and see many birds. Also very Nice surroundings and a good starting loont for hiking and cycling. There is all a petting zoo with donkeys, a horse, sheep and some chickens. I stayed there for one night. Got a little camping, which had everything needed for my stay. Also could use the toilet, showers and the kitchen. It's beside the lake and forest all around.
