While the owners certainly do not boast of their trophy, this gas-station/motel has been awarded as "the most beautiful service station in world". While the building itself is rather good looking, unfortunately, it does not seem to fit to it´s surroundings very well. The enormous parking area, unemptied trash cans, and ugly signposts outside, spoil the view. From inside, the station is too small, and feels crammed.
The service is good, but the selection for products could be larger. The croissants I bought were not fresh anymore. I have not tried the accommodation services.

Read moreRooms for dogs are terribly hot and had no air-conditioning. There's Only a little table fan that only spins that hot and moist air- not cool!!. Beds are i think atleast 30 yrs old, not comfortable at all. Bathroom was full of mould. info it said that there are renovations done in 2007, but that's a lie. 1982 is more accurate!! Its in the middle of nowhere but if you are travelling the route then it does the job of somewhere to sleep. 95 Euro is definitely expensive for what it is, but if there are limited choices, then you go with what there is. The room was fine. Clean modern & bright. I ate dinner at diner across the road, which was better than the service station, but just ok. Breakfast was ok, no complaints. If you just need somewhere to sleep whilst travelling then i would...
