Olo Center — Hotel in Savonlinna sub-region

I along with 6 women visited Olo Centre for a 6 night yoga retreat. This trip was planned a year ago with our yoga instructor that has held several other retreats that I have attended in other countries. All excellent!|This experience from the moment we arrived was disappointing to say the least. |The owners were cold and unfriendly and often not onsite. |The building itself is in need of repair and painting and many of the rugs are stained and dirty. |No housekeeping was offered on a 6 night stay. We had to beg for fresh towels and our garbage to be taken out mid way through our stay. |The activities advertised on the website site did not exist. The bikes when they finally had them delivered after asking for several days were old and broken and unusable. |Kayaks and Canoes were a distance from the centre and could only be accessed at a considerable cost. |When our concerns were brought to the attention of the owners the attitude was one of distain as if we were a bother and they really didn’t want us there. |I could go on and on but suffice it to say I will NEVER return or recommend...

We arrived to olo centre, because we would travel at Linnassari National Park. It's very quiet place and peaceful. The hosts welcomed us with joy and were very kind. Our room was large, the bathroom and the kitchen are new, modern and pleasant. There are many seating areas throughout the hostel so you can always find peace if you want. We cooked the food ourselves and it was pleasant, comfortable and easy. The garden and patio are very pleasant and you can sit and dine in front of the quiet and green view. The exit and entrance to the island where the accommodation is located is by ferry, and it works almost all the time, with the exception of 4 short breaks of 20 minutes throughout the day. So it never happened...

Beautiful two days in Kolovesi national park area. We visited Nahkiaissalo trail and went paddling from Kirkkoranta beach to Ukonvuori rock painting. Magical places. It was an exceptionally warm and sunny weekend, nice to go outdoors and enjoy the scenery. Got good hints to visit nice places from @olocentre where we stayed overnight. Strong recommendations for all these places! 😍 Olo centre is a place for couples, families and even groups.
