Sappee Resort — Hotel in Tampere sub-region

The best downhill skiing place in Tampere region. I have been in Sappee several times, and I really like the place. There are enough slopes that it is interesting for the whole family with very diverse skiing skill levels. They have probably the longest slopes in the region and several lifts, so even on more crowded weekends we didn't have to wait too long. We have used the ski training service for our children to start this sport with great success, so I am especially thankful for this. It is a huge plus that we can reserve the tickets and the gears online so after arriving we can be on the skis in a few minutes. I can recommend Sappee to hobby skiers who want occasionally a day on good slopes but without traveling to the end...

This resort is in the middle of nature in heart of Finland. It is 1 hour drive from Tampere Airport. But much better resort for families than same distance resort called Himos. Sappee is little resort and every cottages and hotel is near from services and slopes.It takes just 1 minute to ski the slope down but you can ski without queue.
