Niuron Cottages — Hotel in Torne Valley sub-region

Niuron mökit is located in the immediate village centre of Ylitornio. They are very basic lodges with few amenities, but this is also reflected in the price, so the level can be considered fair. Our fridge had some problems but the landlord responded immediately and was ready to fix the issue already during our stay. Both a supermarket and a sand beach within walking distance. Beautiful riverside view and despite having the highway nearby, there was only minimal traffic noise. Can definitely be recommended as a budget choice for a stay in Ylitornio. Very friendly host, nice wooden cottage with 2 single beds, kitchen and own (small) bathroom, near the river Tornionjoki. Windows on 2 sides, fan, table, chairs, cupboard, bedside table, shelf, veranda. Quiet location, but close to the center. Next supermarket about 5 walking minutes away.|The bathroom is quite small, so if you take a shower, the toilet gets wet, but it wasn't really a problem. The 2 bigger windows can't be opened, only one small vertical window with mosquitoe net, which was a bit too little to get enough fresh air/oxygen during the night (I chose the bed close to this window), even in September.|All in all, I...

We just stayed one night in this location. Niuron Mökit was so close to small city centre and shopping mall. Room was very comfortable, an efficient heater, pretty compressed hot water and brand new items ( cooker fridge etc.) There is a nice river(Torne river) front of the room and also nice grill that you can use anytime.
