Kuerkaltio Resort — Hotel in Tunturi-Lapin seutukunta

I have no idea why there are very few reviews on about this resort. I have recently returned from my second stay at Kuerkaltio Resort. The first being around this time last year . This is an absolutely fantastic resort situated on the outskirts of the town, but easily within walking distance to the centre. There are several reasons I returned to the resort. Extremely easy to book the chalet directly with the resort. Excellent communication from the staff at resort both prior to and after arrival Chalet and everything within is immaculate. Location is fantastic, being just on the edge of the town it is very quiet, however you are only a 15 min walk away from the centre. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is within the chalet. Almost every kitchen item / utensil you can ever need is there. Despite the fact that the temp is minus 20 - 30 outside the chalet is extremely warm within.

Nothing would appear to be too much trouble for the staff. My partner had contacted the staff by e mail prior to our arrival and advised them that it was my birthday, on the date that we arrived. My partner requested that they place banners and balloons within our chalet for our arrival. My partner then posted banners and balloons to the staff. What a lovely surprise it was to open the chalet door and find birthday balloons and banners on the walls.

I don't doubt that I will be returning to this resort in the next year or two.

Lovely small hamlet style went in winter looks beautiful with snow just 20 minute walk from main town, includes sauna and and all cooking equipment you could realistically need with comfy beds but all one bedroom very open plan.
