The apartment hotel is located just next to lift nr 6, so it is perfect for ski-in ski-out. Cross-country tracks are also right next to the accommodation. Skibus stop is in front of the house taking you to the Levi centre if needed. This is why this place gets three points from me, if it was located farther away from the slopes, it would get only two points. ||||We had a studio for two persons. The great thing was that we got an apartment in ground floor, which meant that we had own entrance, so no fiddling with lifts and ski storage. Apartment was nicely, maybe even say luxuriously, furnished with good quality china. The weird thing was, though, that the amount of china and cutlery did not really add together. We had two deep plates, four normal plates, seven coffee cups, six wine and brandy glasses, four small spoons, 12 knives, four forks, several big bowls for serving things in, yeah you understand. There was no deep bowls for breakfast cereals and not really anything to prepare any food in. Well, the kitchen was supposedly not even meant to be cooked in, as there was absolutely no place to store food. Refridgerator, of course, but all the other stuff that you usually do not have in the fridge, there was no space in any cupboard for pantry items. So, if you book a studio, be prepared not to prepare any (advanced) food items there.||||The sauna was a big, big disappointment. It did not get warm at any means, too much glass wall and big slots in the wall. The ventilation is erroneously done, so you get cold feet if you keep them on the middle bench. If you keep the ventilation at highest, as said in the instruction for using sauna, you get in so much cold air which the stove is not able to warm up, so the sauna just gets colder. You might get a good steam out of the stove when throwing water on it, but the warmth only lingers a short, short while and after that it gets cold again. I've been to many saunas in my life and this was sadly one of the worst ones. (Maybe if you let the stove warm up a couple of hours it could warm up the space enough, but the risk is to warm up the whole bathroom and apartment while doing that.. Not to mention all the energy that is wasted..)||||In the information for the accommodation it is mentioned that next to the hotel there is a ski rental shop. This is not correct. There has not been a ski rental shop in this location for a couple of years, so an update in the hotel information is needed! Nearest ski rental is at Zero Point in Levi centre, which is gladly accessible by ski bus. ||||We payed 720 euros for 4 nights in this location, which is too much for what we got. This was kind of the last available accommodation in the whole Levi during this weekend as our trip was a spur of the moment, but anyway, I would have expected a bit more of a four-star (?) rated accommodation. ||||Taxi for two persons from Levi centre to the hotel costs 16 euros. You can buy lift passes and bus tickets by the hotel (at the lift station). Restaurant in the neighbouring building is open until 1700 daily, so there are no dinner...
Read moreWe have stayed here (apartment for 4 people) for the past 2 January's||||The apartment is a brilliant size (2 double rooms and a sofa bed) with all the amenities you need. The ski locker downstairs is HUGE with a work bench and space to set up snowboards and skis.||||The apartments are next to lift 6 (literally less than a minutes walk) and also the bus stop is right outside the apartments too.||||The apartments are always clean with a balcony (which we saw the northern lights from last year) and a communal spaces for socialising in the evenings. There is also a Sauna in each one with room for 4 people||||the complex is nice and quiet and we have never had an issue with neighbours or noise complaints.||||There is a restaurant next door and a sausage hut at the bottom of the lift which we used for lunches as it was so easy to come back to the apartments for our food and then cook in the hut.||||This is perfect for those looking for somewhere quiet to stay that is further out of the town, i feel like compared to the centre you get more for your money and never have to que for lift 6 in the morning!||||We will always choose this complex when we come to Levi! would...
Read moreWe had suite on ground floor with lake (in winter snow field) view, which we found very comfortable four our stay purpose. You just let skis outside on terrace in winter. You can build snowman just before your door. You can swim in snow after sauna aswell :) ||Very quiet compared to "street" side ones.||Heating was quite good. -25degC outside and 23-23degC inside. Sauna also worked well, althought maximum temp was not so much Finnish :)||Sleeping quality should have been better but in Finland the beds are often quite soft for us mideuropeans so we expected it :)||There is a good restaurant for skiers on the corner (between suites and lift) moreover opened every day. Parking with free electric inlets was smooth just before the building.||Skiing on this side of LEVI is amazing. No people here compared with Sirrka side. This accommodation is a gem when comes to this kind of measurement.||When you are not skiing, you can walk by the area, which we found lovely. So many nice cottages here. So nice place to live or at least to be on holidays. We love Lapland and at this place it even...
