At first I was a little hesitant to choose this hotel because lack of reviews. After spending a wild party weekend there, I surely don't regret my choice! Rock Pocket is a hip boutique hotel located at the very center of Kaarina. If you want to be right in the middle of nightlife and shopping, you can't beat the location! On the other hand, travellers who wish to rest their minds outside all the urban bustle might prefer staying in some more peaceful place. ||||Rock Pocket boasts with free parking and cable tv in rooms. Situated near Courtbreast beach, Old Texas pub and Evergreen lunch restaurant. If you rent a bike, you may also take a trip to the countryside and see the fabulous heights of Smoke Mountain. ||||Among the business-friendly hotels in downtown Kaarina, I think Rock Pocket is the one with best price quality. L'hotel non è molto nuovo. I mobili e la struttura sono datati. Il personale è cortese. La ragazza che ci ha accolto oltre ad essere molto gentile ha soddisfatto la mia richiesta quando ho domandato se c'era un posto lì vicino dove poter assistere ad un bel tramonto.. ci ha mandati dritti in un posto raggiungibile a pochi minuti di macchina fantastico! Conosciuto solo dai residenti, spettacolo fantastico se considerate che in Giugno il tramonto a Kaarina è alle ore 23.00 ! :-)||Abbiamo scelto l'hotel come base d'appoggio per visitare l'Arcipelago di Turku composto da una miriade di isolette. Ci abbiamo dormito solo una notte.L'hotel offre un prezzo basso se considerate anche l'ottima colazione inclusa. E' frequentato da gente del luogo e anche operai. Ho avuto più l'impressione di un turismo locale. L'ubicazione è buona solo se avete l'auto. Altrimenti Kaarina è poco interessante turisticamente parlando, Il parcheggio è ampio e gratis, inoltre sarete a pochi km dalla bella Turku e praticamente immersi nello splendido Arcipelago dove potrete fare ogni tipo di escursione: piedi,bici,barca ecc. La camera è abbastanza ampia, mobili datati. Pulizia accettabile, in camera avrete tv , bollitore e phon in bagno. Le solite tende oscuranti finlandesi non oscurano un bel niente quindi se è estate e praticamente non è mai notte avrete la camera inondata di luce già alle tre del mattino ! Mascherina e tappi ok ? Anche se io mai usati visto che ero così stanco che la notte dormivo di sasso! Il wifi non funziona in camera. Almeno nella nostra. Ricordatevi che la reception chiude alle 20 quindi se prevedete di arrivare dopo quell'ora dovrete contattare l'hotel. Loro vi spiegheranno come entrare, Io ho visto che la ragazza della reception poco prima delle 20 ha lasciato le chiavi per entrare nella stanza dentro la serratura con una scritta in finlandese attaccata sulla porta (evidentemente per gli ospiti che dovevano arrivare),Immagino avrà dettato il codice della porta esterna per telefono agli ospiti. Infatti dopo le 20 si entra nell'hotel solo con un codice numerico da una porta secondaria. Se vi interessa l'hotel è vicinissimo ad un supermarket. In conclusione se volete colazione e bagno in camera e spendere poco nella carissima Finlandia ed inoltre non avete troppe pretese vi dico che questo albergo fa per voi... Se no...
