MeriKoivula Oy — Hotel in Vakka-Suomi sub-region

We were bigger party and rented in total 4 houses, incl 2 types of villas and 1 mökki. In short - we were totally satisfied (I stayed in newest villa). |Having rented quite a many villas, apartments and holiday accommodations I was very surprised with small details what usually annoy me:|- the grill wasn't just a "average IKEA grill" but Green Egg/Kamado |- coffee machine was Jura and always filled with coffee beans (usually you have to buy coffee by yourself)|- additionally were kettle, microwave and toaster|- there was plenty of toilet and household paper (usually there is 1 roll of paper)|- sauna had easy remote system (I don't suggest to heat it up to 90C, it's too hot. 80C seemed to be normal) and nice quality heater|- all rooms had twin beds and windows had shades and mosquito nets|- the area had everything you need for fishing starting with fish cleaning equipment to smokers and motor boats|- for kids (and for adults also) there was big enough playground, football and volleyball grounds, tennis ||There are grocery stores nearby (15min drive) but as we made daytrips to Turku we bought all necessary from there.||All in all I'd like to visit this place one more time. I loved the nice luxury (in the middle of woods)...

This fishing village has everything you need and not only for fishing. It is a perfect place for vacation in the Nordic pine forest on the west coast of Finland, where you can easily meet squirrel and deer, pick wild berries etc. And there are really several places very nice spots where you can catch big perches, right away to smoke them and enjoy this delicious meal. And Uusikaupunki (shops, restaurants, ...) is just around the corner (14 km by car or 7 km by boat). You can choose between luxury villas and simple summer cottages. There is not too many places in the world where you can jump from the sauna to the sea, to rent several different boats (motorized or not) for fishing, play tennis, football etc. Free and fast enough internet connection is everywhere, of course. Lomakylä rauhallisessa ja sekametsäisessä ympäristössä. Mökkit ja villat, satama ja veneenlaskupaikaa, saunat ja pelikenttä. Alue on ollut käytössä 1969 vuodesta - siitä erilaisia jälkiä luonnossa. 2021 vuodesta on peräisin kaikki siniset villat ja ruskeat mökkit ja vessat ja pesutilat. Lomakylä on suunniteltu kalastusta harrastava ihmisen varten - kaikki tarvittava on olemassa - vaan kala täytyy löydä ja pyydä itse. Yövyimme mökissä - mukaan tarvitaan vaan henkilökohtaiset asiat ja ruuat ja juomat - kaikki se mitä tarvitset lisäksi, että valmistaa ruokaa, nukkua, peseytyä on olemassa. Pyyhkeiden ja uimapukujen kuivaamiseksi tarvitset mukaasi narun puiden väliin. Mökki ympärillä on tilaa ja yksityisyyttä. Lähellä on vessat ja suihkut, pelikenttä ja lasten leikkialue. Mereni on noin 200 metriä matkaa. Jos haluat pitempää uintia ja lapsille uimaranta, sitten täytyy ajaa Uusikaupungin, missä on erilaisia mahdollisuuksia - matka 27-40 minuuttia . Alueella on kolme laituria, mistä saa mennä veden - kahden saunan loo ja satamasta. Kaikkien huonoin niistä on kokoustilojen saunan ranta, parempi on sataman laiturilta meno ja paras on toisen saunan laiturilta pulahtaminen. Alueen rannan pohja on matala ja vesikasveja täynnä. Mökkiin käyttö onnistu ilman kontakteja ja avainta. Jos olet ihminen, joka haluaa henkilökohtaista palvelua ja jokapäiväistä tapaamisia ja keskustelua, se ei ole nyt juuri se paikka. Tarvittavat varusteet tenniksen, sulkapallon, jalkapallon ja lentopallon pelaamiseen ovat saatavilla. Alueella lapsille tilaa polkupyörä ajelulle. Meidän kokemus oli...
