Hotel Joronjälki — Hotel in Varkaus sub-region

Awful place... To ask 60e/night for 1 person room here is just crazy! No warm water in my room. Stuffy in the room, ventilation doesn't work and not possible to open large window (only tiny one). Very dirty disgusting room, dust everywhere, dirty smelling toilet, half of the lights didn't work. No wifi anywhere at the hotel (if this place can be called a "hotel"). Trash around the building. The guy at the reception didn't want to move a finger and looked very struggling answering basic questions. And you never knew when the reception is open, no information on that (always have to call him). You might ask if there was anything good? Well, in the room was ventilator, fridge, tv, clean bed sheets and pillows (dirty mattress, though). At the main entrance was written that last time sanitary inspection was there in 2015 (5 years ago). All said by that. Not worth a...

Even though the room had two radiators, it was cold as hell. Hotel was really run-down, more like ones in Russia. But hey, why not become part of this legend. Overpriced, but when I have heard about the struggles with taxes and all, I do not wonder. In fact, the owner planned to pull the hotel down completely, so it could be the last opportunities to...

Kävin pikaisella kahvipysäkillä ihan paikan tv-julkisuuden takia. Ensinnäkin sisäänkäynnin löytäminen rakennuskompleksiin oli yllärrävän haastavaa.

Terassin ovesta luikahdin sisään, ja hiivin tieni läpi hämmentävän 90-luvun aikamatkan läpi pienelle baarialueelle, joka oli hämyinen ja värjätyn ikkunalasin johdosta erikoisen kellertävän sävyinen (tätä et nähnyt tv:stä!)

Itse Auvo palveli tiskillä yatävällisesti. Olenpahan nähnyt nyt hänetkin livenä! Paikalla oli kolme (paikallisen oloista) asiakasta baaritiskillä, ei taustamusiikkia. Hörppäsin kahvin, ja poistuin samaa reittiä mistä saavuinkin, mutta vessan kautta. Ja se vasta olikin näky.. mitään spoilaamatta.

Paikka on kyllä sanalla sanoen Hämmentävä. Edes se Sukulan ohjelma ei välitä sitä kummallista pysähtyneen ajan tunnelmaa, joka...
