I want to give it no stars, so that it doesn’t become full all of the time - which it certainly will be full soon. It’s pretty perfect. It’s a great place, the rooms are basic, thankfully no WiFi in the rooms and nothing in the minibar fridge at all. I would imagine there is no hotel in the world where the rooms are all as spaced apart (approximately 60 metres from each other) as this one. We took the whole place over for a work thing and although coming back alone in the woods in the dark and the rain was challenging… it was still utterly amazing to wake up there. Congratulations on making somewhere very special. 👏

An excellent experience just a hour and half from Paris! A wonderfully welcoming staff at the front desk, and an in-house chef who makes some sublime menu’s for dinner. A tranquil escape to be one with nature, a few hours from busy Paris was just what we needed for a weekend. We will definitely be coming again. This place is serendipitous in one word. The Saturday brunch was well worth its price and the food was simply amazing.

Exceptional place. The lodges are all beautiful and impeccably done. The staff are wonderfully friendly and it is truly a special place to stay. The lodges are incredible. Such wonderful detail and all you see are trees from each window. There are little ovens, a hob and a full size fridge so plenty to make a small meal there but we had takeaway pizza from the local village. Early evening the staff lit a fire at the communal area and there were marshmallows and sticks for everyone to toast a marshmallow. There’s a box of children’s toys and some excellent beers and wine so it’s a lovely space to spend early evening. Everyone was really friendly and my children made friends with other children (despite not speaking the same language).

I would not hesitate to recommend this place to everyone and will most...
