Corsica Camping Torraccia — Hotel in Ajaccio

I really liked this camping because it is quiet, with numbered pitches (looks like you can book them too), a well-stocked and honest supermarket 2 minutes by car, very close to the Chiuni beach which is simply divine for those seeking tranquility, the pool looks pleasant but we have never used it because we prefer to enjoy the sea, however there seems to be room for everyone, children and adults. The staff speaks several languages ​​and is kind, can lend cables and adapters, a fridge cell is included in the package, the pizzeria is good. Cons: no sea view, the bathrooms are insufficient in number, absolutely too dark and not cleaned frequently enough (I tried at all times and never found them clean!) I must say, however, that we stumbled upon a time when the public of the campsite was particularly dirty: it doesn't seem normal to me to leave the remains of food in the sinks after washing the dishes or not flushing the toilet. I appreciated the well-organized waste collection and that the campsite has the Ecolabel. I would stay there again, hoping the bathrooms cleaning issue would be...

We came with two families (kids ages 12, 10, 7, 5) with two large tents. The camping pitches are varied from small to very large. We were able to pitch two tents of 4 x 6 m on two fields next to each other easily but the only place we could do this was next to the main road. This area is also on a slight slope so a slight inconvenience from a sleeping perspective. Positive was that being near the road meant shade in the morning!||The pool is the best feature here. Toilet and washing facilities are good and clean. Warm water is included in the camping fees (no coins needed). It was located a little far from our area (about 100m walk).||There is a restaurant in site. Pizzas are very good! ||Owners can speak English so that is a bonus. Also very friendly and helpful. ||All in all a nice place to camp. Good location for access to many activities in the area. Spar and Carrefour groceries are within 5-10 min drive....

Grande delusione per i seguenti motivi:||- mobil home venduta a caro prezzo con vista mare, in realtà non comparabile con tutti gli altri bungalow della medesima categoria chiamati “vista mare” aventi esclusivamente vista verso il tramonto, lato torre d’orchinu. Il nostro bungalow aveva vista mare tirata per i capelli lato spiaggia Però, nonché vista strada di alta percorrenza rumorosa;|- la spiaggia di chiuni era raggiungibile a piedi solo da un volenteroso, la strada a piedi per la spiaggia di chiuni é molto accidentata e ripida, richiede quasi 30 minuti di performance. Non proponibile per tutti i giorni. La spiaggia Però si raggiunge solo con una lunga camminata su strada. Necessaria quindi l’auto per andare in spiaggia.|- quest’anno il ristorante era chiuso (quando ho fatto la prenotazione non era scritto da nessuna parte);|- idem la pizzeria;|- non c’era il bar |- non presente il minimarket;|- attiva esclusivamente la piscinetta non custodita in cui la vasca idromassaggio era in bella vista coperta con il suo telone e non attivata.||In pratica necessità di prendere l’auto per qualsiasi cosa, assenza di un luogo pubblico sociale, dove normalmente si concentrano i servizi.||Comparato ad es. con il camping ostriconi, frequentato l’anno scorso e quest’anno, non può competere su nessun piano a parità di spesa per una mobil home. Ostriconi infatti ha una marea di personale addetto ai servizi, al bar al market e la spiaggia fenomenale si raggiunge a piedi. Vengono anche organizzate serate con musica in linea con la realtà del campeggio nel rispetto delle esigenze di relax degli ospiti. Idem ad esempio il camping Bodri dove i servizi e il personale, sempre a parità di spesa, sono al top.|Al camping torraccia si respira un’aria di desolazione e dismissione, il personale é all’osso e nonostante tutto i prezzi sono allineati con le strutture più blasonate. ||Lo definirei un dormitorio, con al massimo in più una piscina con scivolo, e qualche gioco in...
