We stayed here during a walking holiday. We loved the hotel. Our room had the most stunning view of the mountains. ||The food was the best we’ve experienced in a walking holiday. The chef sources local ingredients and creates divine food. A simple starter of carrot salad with egg was out of this world. Battered courgette and deep fried aubergine were light and conversation stoppers as our group devoured these unexpected and much appreciated culinary delights.||The croissants at breakfast were good and better than most hotel croissants. Our packed lunches for walking were hearty and substantial. Fresh fruit was readily available. ||The rooms were clean and comfortable. There was an abundance of hot water - much needed to wash off suncream and mountain dust at the end of the day. ||The train station is close by making it easy to arrive by train if you so wish and to explore the...
Read moreWe stayed for a week as part of a walking group.||This is a very traditional Corsican hotel . Our room was , comfortable and large with an excellent shower - clean and tidy. Some of the furniture is a bit battered but nice in its own way . Stunning views .|Breakfast is some cereals and fruit with very fresh croissants and bread . Coffee machine is great .|They made huge torpedo baguettes everyday for our lunch .|3 course dinner was also very traditional with Corsican dishes each night - we loved it - but not much veg . They catered for food intolerances too .|Drinks before and during dinner were good value - house wine OK too .|The WIFI is awful - non existent in our room and not great next to the router - probably due to remote location. |Above all , the staff were friendly and attentive- they really wanted us to...
