Lovely family-owned camping. Safe environment for kids; dog friendly and an overall enjoyable stay in the rented Bungalow. Many activities to be done around, namely the Salamander cave is a MUST.

Would not recommend.

When we arrived, the houses we stayed in were relatively clean. However, I would not call it spotless, with dirt still on the porch table and ants crawling on everything, but we didn't mind as we weren't expecting much anyway.

Fast forward to the last day, we spent 2 hours in the morning making sure the place was as clean as we could get it, sweeping, mopping, wiping down tables and counter tops, and whatnot. However, when the owner and his wife showed up to check the houses, they claimed the houses weren't clean enough while referring to dirt in obscure parts of the house that had probably been there for years. They also claimed the black mold that was growing shower of one of the houses our group used was our fault.

They made no effort to not bring dirt into the house as they were checking the houses either, dragging dirt behind each other, and then blaming us for it. The owner himself had killed a fly he had spotted while checking and just left it there.

Once they were done, about 3 of the 4 house he checked were still dirty, with 1 of them being good enough for them (this particular house will be mentioned again later). They said we would need to pay a cleaning fee of between €70 to €110 per dirty house, but we figured it would still be possible to clean the things they had complained about to save us having to pay the fee and asked if we could have a bit of time to finish cleaning. They allowed that, and we went to work, making sure we got it right this time.

Despite our efforts, though, they still claimed the houses weren't clean enough. We were staying to get a bit frustrated at this stage because we felt the houses were now cleaner than they were when we arrived on the first day. They disagreed and then decided to go back on to the house that they originally claimed was clean enough, now claiming that it wasn't. They pointed out that the sofa bed in that house we damaged by us (a small tear on the sofa compartment) despite the fact that it had been set up as a bed the whole time we were there and we had never used the part that they claimed we damaged.

We argued with them on how some of their claims could possibly be our fault until the owner decided he'd had enough and just kicked us out, and that was that.

Fast forward now to 3 weeks later, we just received a fee for €400 for damages we apparently caused to the plumbing system on the houses, damage which was there from the beginning and that the owner was aware of as he came by at one point during our stay there to replace our gas supply and noticed it (in the case for our house, the pipe that led from the shower drain had been disconnected and was lying on the ground) and gladly fixed it for us, so we are quite shocked to now see that he now wanted to charge us for it.

To conclude, we feel that the owner was trying to scam us out of more money, as the claims he made about the condition we left the place in were wildly over exaggerated and in some cases not our fault. I don't understand how this place has its 4 stars. We passed by places with less that seemed to look much nicer, and the houses we used were clearly...

This place will try scam you

A group of us booked 4 mobile homes for a week.

firstly the service is horrible, the owner doesn't listen and clearly just wanted to take advantage of us.

The mobile homes weren't very clean when we came in, there was dirt a bit on everything and the mirrors and showers weren't clean (important) but we didn't care as the campsite is in the middle of the country side, so it wasn't something we took much notice of and we were happy to have a place to stay.

At the end of the week we packed up and got ready to go, we cleaned our mobile homes for at least 2 hours, mopping, sweeping, scrubbing the whole thing, to say it was cleaner than we got there is an understatement. At 10am we were ready to go and the owner visited us.

He took a tour of one of the homes and starred noticing dust in places that didn't exist, he said the shower had mold on it, (mold that had been there before ) and then he had the audacity to point at the dirt he let in with his shoes and call it unacceptable, proceeded by killing a big fly on the couch and leaving it.

He said that we would be charged minimum 80e and a maximum of 120e for every mobile home not cleaned. This shook us a bit, but not wanting to pay we asked if we could stay a bit longer to clean up more, he agreed. So we cleaned for an extra hour

Everything he mentioned before was clean. The floor, the shower, the pots and pans, the fly he killed. Yet he came in and started lifing couches and checking obscure corners in the pressers that we had never been, saying that the little bit of dust will cost at least 80e to clean. At this point we got a bit frustrated, and said that we will leave because at this point we had cleaned more than we should have and had left the place spick and span.

Fast-forward a week and i get sent a bill for the cleanup fees 400 total, the funniest thing is it was already charged as he had our cards from the deposit we paid, so we couldn't contest it, he just took the money. But the cherry on the cake is the only pictures he sent of proof were of the plumbing under the mobile home, saying we had crawled underneath and damaged it?!?! It makes no sense and clearly he had forgotten what he had said he was charging us for on the day.

In conclusion the people aren't nice and they took advantage of us to clean their mobile homes, and charged us 400e total to clean and fix them, would not recommend...

I want to express my frustration regarding the recent situation I encountered at a campsite. Upon my arrival, I found the place in a mediocre condition, but I decided to take matters into my own hands and clean it myself. However, to my surprise, I was later charged a cleaning fee for allegedly not cleaning the place adequately.

When I arrived at the campsite, it was evident that the cleaning crew had not put in their best effort. There were visible signs of dust, dirt, and general untidiness that made it clear the place had not been properly cleaned before my arrival. It was disappointing to see that the level of cleanliness did not meet my expectations, especially considering the fees I had already paid.

Motivated by my desire for a comfortable and clean experience, I took it upon myself to rectify the situation. I spent a considerable amount of time and effort cleaning the bungalow meticulously. I scrubbed the floors, sanitized the surfaces, and even went above and beyond to ensure that the place was left in a pristine condition. I was confident that my cleaning efforts would guarantee a pleasant stay.

However, my disappointment reached new heights when I received a cleaning fee notification. I was shocked to learn that I was being penalized for not cleaning the campsite properly, despite my thorough efforts to make it spotless. It felt like a complete injustice and a disregard for the hard work I had put in to improve the cleanliness of the place.

Being charged a cleaning fee for a campsite that I personally cleaned and left in a better state than when I arrived is not only frustrating but also unfair. It raises questions about the campsite's integrity and the transparency of their policies. As a customer, I believe it is essential to be treated with respect and fairness, which clearly was not the case in this situation.

In conclusion, I am deeply disappointed by the campsite's decision to charge me a cleaning fee for a place that I took the initiative to clean and improve. It was disheartening to be penalized for an alleged lack of cleanliness when, in reality, I went above and beyond to make the campsite presentable. As a customer, I expect transparency, fairness, and acknowledgment of the efforts I made to...
