I rarely bother to give reviews unless I'm blown away, but that's exactly what I was! This is one of the best / friendliest hotels I've stayed in. Every single member of staff, especially the reception staff, would bend over backwards to help us in any way they could. So friendly and helpful, they really did go above and beyond. They also weren't precious about their fantastic facilities, e.g. they wanted us to use and enjoy the spa pool & sauna and each and every opportunity (it's free for hotel guests). Au sommet de ce que peut-être l'hôtellerie de montagne! Qui ne connaît pas Crêt-Volland et le Cernix en particulier, ne se doute pas que l'HÔTEL DU MONT-CHARVIN est un véritable havre de paix au style montagnard animé par WILLMAN, un homme dévoué à sa clientèle depuis janvier 2023 qui a le sens de l'accueil et de l'hospitalité. Nous étions conviés dans cet hôtel le week-end du 1er avril, pour le mariage de notre fille, c'est ainsi que nous sommes autorisés à parler d'expérience. Les chambres sont très agréables et confortables en vis-à-vis avec le Mont Charvin d'un côté et au pied des pistes de l'autre. Salle à manger chaleureuse, un véritable écrin de bois pour déguster la fondue ou la Matouille (curiosité locale). Bref, une adresse à conseiller pour la qualité de cet établissement.

Charming, cozy little hotel with friendly staff (who kindly waited for us to arrive quite late at night!). Super convenient with ski rentals just across the street and easy access to lifts. We had dinner in the hotel our last night and it was delicious - we regretted not having eaten there earlier in our stay. There were board games and books in the common lounges and the sauna was so nice after a long day skiing (and was at no extra charge)....
