Chalet La Grange d’Alice — Hotel in Albertville

We are definitely coming back and would highly recommend this chalet!

Firstly, during our day of travel, we were a bit hesitant: ''what if this is just scam and the house won't even exist''? This because the first impression based on the pictures online seemed to good to be true. But our week at La Grange d´Alice was even better then expected, made possible by our hosts Esther & Jasper. Many thanks to their excellent cooking skills, hospitality and their knowledge about the delicous cheese plate. The location of the chalet was also a pleasant factor: we could see the funicular right through the window and the slopes are easily reachable. When returning to our wonderful chalet after enjoying the slopes and aprés ski, we were welcomed back with a freshly baked afternoon cake and we could directly dive into the hottub or enjoy the sauna - what...

Wow. Simply wow. A stunning chalet in the most beautiful location. The interior is everything you could wish for and whenever I pictured a ski lodge, it looked like this. We housed 3 families together and we still had so much space for the kids to play and adults to relax. The current caretakers, Stephen and Lillian (along with their gorgeous daughter) are the best hosts you could ask for. The food was spectacular, the fire was always roaring and the beers always cold. Their company and conversation added to our holiday and we’ve left as friends. Catered chalets are absolutely the future for us and this one in particular is head and shoulders...

We had a fantastic week of skiing at this chalet, with the even more fantastic hosts, Daan and Merel. The chalet itself is warm, welcoming, scrupulously clean and tidy and was spacious enough to accommodate our group of 14 without getting on each other's toes. Daan & Merel made a succession of absolutely delicious meals, all generously portioned, and each one came with a brief and informative explanation of it's background. The cheese after each meal was an unexpected delight too! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this fabulous duo and chalet. Thanks again,...
