Eleven Chalet Pelerin — Hotel in Albertville

How this isn’t five stars across the board is beyond me. We just got back from Chalet Pelerin and it was pure magic. Perched in a tiny alpine hamlet with sweeping mountain views, the chalet nails that sweet spot of design-forward and deeply cozy. Every detail is handled so well that you literally don't have to think. Mornings start with fresh coffee, baked goods, fresh fruit, and however you like your eggs (all presented SO beautifully), days are crafted around you with fantastic guides who know every trail and viewpoint and epic adventure, and evenings end with a chef turning local ingredients into the kind of dinners you talk about for years. Bedrooms are lovely, quiet and plush, outdoor spaces are made for gathering, and the team anticipates what you need before you ask. And the spa area, my goodness...hot tub overlooking the alps, fire pit with real wood, huge sauna, steam shower, indoor lap pool, robes, and a fridge stocked with drinks. The music throughout the Chalet is curated based on time of day and really adds to the ambiance.

It’s the rare place where you feel completely cared for and still free to roam. Perfect for a summer family escape or a friends trip. We lacked nothing and loved every minute. Highly, highly recommend.

If I'm being picky, my ONLY comment is that the outdoor dinner table could've used a bit of an upgrade compared to everything else in the Chalet but it didn't really matter because the food, service and views...

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. It was breathtaking. The chef's were extraordinary. The staff were so completely on top of things. You wanted for nothing! Amenities galore! The views were spectacular. I would go back in...
