This is the first time I have written a review but felt impelled to because this is a location that offers superb value for people that are searching for a well priced holiday but don't like to sacrifice on quality.||||This is not a place for those that like to chill with loads of other Brits. We were in the depths of the French countryside and part of the atmosphere created on this holiday is that you know you are in a different country - brush up on your french, take the dictionary along and above all else try to speak the local language. That way you get rewarded by very receptive people and have fun trying to converse!||||We have two choldren aged 13 and 10, at first they were reserved and frustrated by the lack of English speaking children, that lasted two days and then they were running arounding having dreat fun. We often had a load of French children surrounding the house and squeals of laughter.||||What's on site? Starting with the accomodation, clean, practical, we had a appartment with an extra bedroom and there was plenty of space. Everything was spotless - which brings me to the next bit. On this holiday forget the maid visits - you can have it but it puts the cost up - this holiday is well proced becasue you look after your accomodation and you clean it when you leave. We are a bit nipped up about things being clean and this suited us fine.||||There are two rows of houses, each had a fab view - and I mean a stunning view across the mountains and valley.||||So great place to stay, all mod cons and delightfully air con was included, there is a pool on site which was great for the evenings. I say evenings because this holiday is not for the pool lounger. Here you are up in the mountains and there is so much to see and do - expect to travel a bit each day.||||Views from the rooms were fabulous - none of the pictures I have seen do this place justice. ||||If you are active, adventurous, happy to travel and see things, practical and know a few french words then this is a billy bargain for you.||||Have...
Read moreThe location makes this place! The view from the apartment is simply stunning. ||The apartment itself is simple, clean and has everything you need. It was nice to have a terrace for breakfasts and dinners :)||||The facilities were good. The pool was clean, with fresh water and a good size. There was no shallow end so if you are coming with kids bring the arm bands!||The pool is undercover and the deck is out in the open.||Very nice and friendly staff. Our French was limited but they tried to talk to us anyway. :) ||||The local village Trebas is beautiful too. Small with one shop, a nice restaurant and amazing bakery and of course with a shallow river running through. It has a small beach where you can post up. Great place for the kids and but also a beautiful place to relax and take in the magnificent surroundings. You will a small tennis court there too.||||Take a trip by kayaking down the river to the village Ambialent - it is a nice and funny experience.||||WiFi is free but you get signal only around the main reception area. ||||Washing is awailable for a wee...
Read moreWe had a last minute holiday deal to this location. This was a great base from which to travel around the beautiful Tarn region. Apartment we had offered an uninterrupted view of the valley and the balcony was in full sunshine when we had breakfast on it each morning. Rooms are clean and airy with good kitchen facilitiea and air conditioning. Nice large well maintained pool with a sun deck area although we only used it a couple of times. There are kids playing in the open spaces here most of the day but it's not anything unexpected and doesn't distract. It is generally quiet and relaxed. There is something for everyone here really. Lots of walkers going off into the hills each day and also families and couples exploring the area in cars. Parking is good and we had a nice...
