How to do a last minute christmas trip to France. We went with @dfdsuk and found £3 mulled wine, a hidden chateau for £38.50pp, and so much cheese and bread | AD Suggested itinerary: Day 1 - get an early morning ferry to arrive before midday. Drive to Arras to see the market Recommendations outside the market: Pâtisserie Thibaut, Domont et Fils bakery, and Prairie fromagerie Drive to Chateau de Contay and check in Day 2 - drive to Amiens to visit their market Recommendations outside the market: Quartier Saint Leu, visit Jean Trogneux for macarons, try ficelle picarde (a type of crepe), if you want a meal out try Querelle or la bonne Auberge Stay until 7pm to see the light show at Amiens Notre Dame Depart on either a late night ferry or the following day . . #arras #amiens #hautsdefrance #northernfrance #ferrytravel #christmastravel #dfds #dfdsuk #winterwonderland
