La Vieille Bouverie — Hotel in Angers

We had the pleasure to spend 5 nights at La Vieille Bouverie and it was truly perfection and wish I could give more than 5 stars. The photos on the website of the rooms and property are exactly what you see in person, so amazing and well done. The B&B is in a quiet location but just minutes away from Angers and many other quaint towns. The rooms are luxurious in an understated way with beautiful furnishings, personal touches and VERY clean. What made it so wonderful besides the actual property itself were the most kind and gracious hosts, Elena and David. You can see all the hard work that has gone into transforming the B&B and feel how much they genuinely care that you are comfortable and happy. Nothing was too much trouble and they gave us very good suggestions for where to eat, places of interest, wineries and much more. La Vieille Bouverie is a mix of traditional French countryside charm and modern amenities. Rooms were clean and newly renovated with a nice view to the field and Garden. The hosts, Elena and David, were wonderful and introduced us to their antique shop, which is accessible directly from the property. The B&B's location is convenient for exploring the surrounding area. We went to old town of Angers in Loire Valley, which is only 20 min drive and visited an old Cathedral that is one of the most beautiful churches, I have seen. We had an amazing stay at La Vieille Bouverie. The B&B is very well located, just 20' away from Angers city center. The place was recently renovated with much taste by the current owners, Elena and David. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, elegantly blending modern and more traditional decorations.
