Visited early September as a stop over for a couple of day's on our way to Italy, we were using Eurocamp, first impressions was it looked ok but when our rep told us to get to our mobile we had to go back out the gate turn right and take the second entrance past the apartment block, we started to have second thought's, our mobile was on a gravel track which did have access back into the camp right at the very top but only for foot traffic and for us being nearer the road it was shorter to walk back via the road it was also lined by trees so you could not see any mountains or the sky come to that, some of the residents must have thought they was on the WRC as they would drive quite fast and cause dust clouds to cover us rather annoying whilst your eating. Regular early morning wake up call at around 5am courtesy of the local cockerel and very noisy kids in the apartment next door who like to shout to each other from late afternoon until after 9pm. We did check out the rest of the camp rather quite during our stay the pool looked ok but never used it. The camp is something like 1.5 k from the lake so about a 20 min walk, we did not attempt that but did drive into Annecy which is well worth a visit and we did go for a swim in the lake on our way back which was fun. Could not stay more than a few days here.

We have mixed feelings. As a tent/caravan/camper owner, we felt like we were not much of a priority for the camping owner but the mobile homes are. The sanitair is very outdated and was not cleaned well and the showers could not remain its temperature (changing to too cold or too hot while not touching the shower button). Besides this, the number of camping places in comparison to the number of mobile homes made us think the camping places are just to 'fill up' some remaining space. Also, we were not informed about the construction place next to the camping places and the noise that came along with it. We had hoped to be informed about this before our arrival... So, we would not recommend this camping to camp. However, the camping is just fine when planning to stay in a mobile home!

Fantastic location with views of the mountains - close to small town of Doussard and landing site for paragliding. Excellent/clean/well maintained 25yard pool. Delightful restaurant owned by French couple (she cooks) and food was delicious. Although it was busy at the weekend because of holiday, it was still nice to chill outside our motorhome under the trees. We originally came for 3 nights and kept extending, staying a total of 16 nights! Extremely friendly staff (reception Andrea and Angelina are wonderful) and other staff are very friendly, always working hard at cleaning or maintenance. Highly recommend this lovely small campsite.

Visited here with my wife and two 11 year olds. Was just what we were looking for in a camp site.

We stayed in a static home provided by Canvas. The accommodation was spotlessly clean as was the rest of the campsite - no creepy crawlies in the showers and toilet block here and the pool and surrounding area was cleaned thoroughly every morning!

The site has a cosy, friendly feel and is very quiet and relaxed. The views looking over the mountains are stunning. Even after a week I still found myself lying on my back in the swimming pool, gazing out to the hills thinking "Wow"!

We stayed in May / June half term and there wasn't any on site entertainment which suited us just fine. If you are looking for a livelier (noisier) camp site with disco and water park etc look elsewhere.

The site has a small cafe / bar area which serves ice-creams and drinks during the day and meals in the evening. The meals were simple but of typically good French quality. We had steak and chips and the steak was cooked to perfection in a parsley and butter sauce. They also do handmade take away pizza which was very good.

There is plenty to do in the surrounding area to suit your budget. The shops in Doussard (Carrefour, butchers, bakers, bar and restaurant) are an easy five minute walk from the site. A drive up to Col de la Forclaz nearby is a must as the views are uniquely Alpine and stunning. Lake Annecy is a 20 minute walk from the site, through a nature reserve. There is a stony beach at the lake with a swimming area if you are brave - the water is crystal clear. Annecy is a 20 minute drive from the site and has a good mix of old and new, with a quaint riviera feel to the town.

We would definitely come back to both this site...

This was out second visit to this campsite, we had visited 3 years earlier. We noticed they had put more mobile exclusive chambers mobile home on site. The only problem with this is there were not enough sun loungers around the pool. Quite often around 3pm when people were returning from day trips the pool area would become very busy and they did not have enough loungers, we ended up sitting on the floor! There was space for more loungers so if you could please purchase more to meet the increase in people using your site. The site was overall very clean with good facilities. We stayed in a deluxe mobile home, the mattress was very hard and gave us back ache, the pillows were very poor in the kids room. Wifi would drop out which was frustrating. There are no international T.V channels only French so when the weather is poor which was quite often on this trip having a few international channels would have been welcome. Good onsite Laundry facilities, the washing machines self dispense so there is no need to buy washing detergent. Washing machine 5 euros and the dryer 4 euros. If i could change 3 things it would be the sun loungers, mattresses and pillow and improved T.V channels. Great location Doussard and Annecy...
