Château Saint-Pierre de Mejans — Hotel in Apt

A Beautiful Stay in the Heart of Provence 🍷✨ We had a wonderful experience at Château Saint Pierre de Mejans. The service was excellent – everyone was kind, helpful, and welcoming. The wine tour was a highlight: informative, relaxed, and paired with some truly great wines. The rooms are luxurious and beautifully designed, combining the charm of a historic château with modern comfort.

Breakfast was absolutely delicious – fresh, high-quality, and a perfect start to the day. That said, we felt the château could take even more advantage of its stunning surroundings by offering food options during the day or evening. A space for open-fire grilling, for example, would be amazing – it would match the vibe of the place perfectly and add to the overall experience.

If I had to suggest one more improvement, it would be to have the reception open 24/7 or at least more time, and to inform guests at check-in that housekeeping isn’t automatic – it needs to be requested.

I was very privileged to experience staying at the Chateau for a couple of nights, and enjoy some marvelous wine tasting. The host is absolutely amazing, very professional with great attention to detail. My fiancé and I, would definitely recommend staying there for a little getaway from the city. After having stayed there, we can go back to New York with our heads and hearts lighter. Thank you for everything, we are hoping there will be a next time.

Beautiful château located in a great location. Stayed here on a weekend trip for my birthday last summer and absolutely loved it. Benoît was very knowledgeable and gave us a great tour of the property and winery, in addition he was very helpful if we needed anything throughout our stay. The owners were very friendly and accommodating as well, definitely recommending this place as the perfect spot to stay in the area!!
