Le Mas Joséphine — Hotel in Arles

Our stay at Le Mas Josephine in St Remy de Provence was nothing short of wonderful. Arielle and Bruno welcomed us with such warmth, making us feel right at home in their beautiful property. We stayed in the Alpilles room, which was spacious and comfortable, complete with a cozy sitting area. The grounds are impeccably landscaped, offering a serene space to relax, especially around the inviting pool when the weather allows.

The location is quiet and peaceful, with stunning views right from our room, adding to the sense of tranquility. Breakfast was a daily highlight—Bruno’s fried eggs are hands down the best I’ve ever tasted.

The only drawback is the access road, which is quite narrow and requires careful driving. While the old town is technically within walking distance, the road isn't the safest for pedestrians. Parking in town can also be tricky, so it’s worth planning ahead.

That said, this bed and breakfast makes a perfect base for exploring the region, with so many wonderful sights within easy reach for day trips. I highly recommend staying here for a peaceful, charming...

This is the third times in three years we stayed at Mas Josephine in St Remy and this is truly exceptional. Maybe the best B&B we have been to with a breakfast that approaches 5* luxury quality. We have stayed in a room on the first floor in previous years and a larger room on the ground floor this year. The rooms are very spacious with very good bedding and decorated with taste. Nice air conditioning too! Arielle and Bruno are fantastic hosts with such an attention to details. There is a tasty fresh breakfast in the garden or in their lovely dining room when weather does not allow to have a breakfast outside. What a fabulous find! The moment we entered the manicured grounds we were enchanted. The grounds are beautiful and tended to with such care and attention. Arielle and Bruno made us feel so welcome, and their hospitality exceeded our every expectation. The breakfasts were delicious, with amazing attention to detail. Our room (Eygalieres) was perfect, with a lovely view of the pool and surrounding landscape. Housekeeping was supplied daily and the cleanliness second to none.
