Promenade a Cheval sheepfold of Alivon in the Camargue — Hotel in Arles

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 hour ride today! Both my husband (no previous horse riding experience) and I (some previous horse riding experience from years ago) loved the ride through the marsh lands, past different herds of horses and bulls. Emmanuel was the guide and made sure everyone felt comfortable and safe. As we didn’t have a car, we just took the bus 20 from Arles and then walked 5 minutes from the bus stop. As we arrived very early in the morning (due to the infrequent bus schedule) the Mroz family had accommodated us so as to have breakfast at the Bergerie D’Alivon. It was such a great experience! We went horseriding for the first time today and it was an amazing experience! I’ll admit I was very nervous at the beginning but after an hour into it the team had made me feel completely safe and comfortable. The horses were so gentle and well trained, and the guidance we received was fantastic. By the end of it, we had thoroughly enjoyed our time and we couldn’t stop smiling! Die schönste Unterkunft in der ganzen Camargue. Ich habe mich sehr willkommen gefühlt und auch wenn mein Französisch etwas eingerostet ist, habe ich Isabelle und Emmanuel immer gut verstanden. Isabelle ist eine herzensgute Frau und kümmert sich super um ihre Gäste und den Hof. Die beiden Ausritte die ich hier machen durfte, waren sehr schön, wir haben Flamingos gesehen und jeder der etwas für einen schnellen Galopp übrig hat, wählt am besten den Halbtagsritt. Die Pferde sind alle sehr gut gepflegt, haben jeden Tag eine Menge Auslauf auf der Weide. Zudem sind sie alles gewöhnt und super brav. Das Frühstück war immer sehr lecker und bei der Gelegenheit konnte Isabelle einem immer Tipps geben, wo man am besten reiten geht, was man sich in st Marie de la mer anschaut und, wie man am besten fährt, um an den Strand zu kommen. Der kleine Ort bieten zudem ein süßes Restaurant und einen kleinen Laden, der regionale Sachen verkauft. Die Busstation ist nur 5 Minuten entfernt.
