This is the 6th time we have returned to Les Sources, it is a small well run Chambres d'hotes in a village approx. 5km from the ski station of Le Lioran. Run by an Aussie couple, Sandy and Ross, the rooms are clean, well decorated and presented with a newly re-fitted shower and wc room. All towels, gels are provided along with a hair drier. Breakfast is included in the cost per room (60 euros) and is a continental affair with croissants, bread, cereals, yogurts, fresh juices and plenty of tea and coffee. For an additional 17.5 euro per person you can have a superb 4 course evening meal consisting of local offerings.||We don't like to tell too many people about Le Lioran as its our secret corner of France but if you like small ski resorts with no queues, 142 euro 6 day lift passes then its one to go to and places like Les Sources can provide all the info you need for a weeks skiing. ||Just a note to finish on, they do mention it on the website, they have 3 cats, Lilly, Lavender and Ollie, we love them, but if you are allergic or don't like cats then be aware!!||If you can, get there before everyone...

Plenty of fresh bread/pastries at breakfast.||||The hosts are extremely welcoming and unfailingly helpful - Keith suggested walks for us, and was kind enough to lend us his walking map for the day. Thoroughly...
Read moreRoom tidiness is top, private part seems more normal catty environment, breakfast a la francaise, may have missed the occasion to propose a UK breakfast with more protein than the frenchy white bread base, slow sugar ends up fat anyway.|A great sense of hospitality, with right dosage of leave me alone vs the gluey-stick to my tennis shoes. Ready to help anytime.|Recommendable place to go; can improve tidiness of backyard facing a marvelous ill scenery.|Bravo, brilliant UK adaptation to a French environment that refuses customer constantly - based on 5 or 6 F restaurants tested at 20h30 on Monday evening. That can be improved too for the village reputation vs welcoming...
