I struggled to rate this place between a 2-3/5 because it needs a complete rehab. We needed a place to sleep for the night and it fit our price range. It was partially rehabed with new beds( thin firm mattress which I liked) was like putting lipstick on a pig due to having the same old bathroom. Everything worked and was clean (no hair in my sheets) but the old fixtures, unpainted trim and old windows makes it appear dirty unfortunately. The room had a strong smell of smoke that didn't leave when opening the window. The staff was friendly and check in and out was quick and efficient. Google rated this as a 2 star hotel but shows as 1 star. The price was 40 € and correct for one night to sleep and continue our journey but not more. The rooms are tiny and ours stunk of smoke, but it was clean, the bathroom had decent shower pressure and the whole thing was peanuts (€39 for the night). There was a bunk bed above/across the double that our daughter found great fun.||There are a few chain restaurants within walking distance, and the town is a short drive - although not much was open on the Sunday evening we stayed. There's a massive Cora supermarket just around the corner, with cheap everything, including fuel.||As a stop on the journey to the south it's perfect...........just don't expect to be able to do anything here, so arrive late and...
