Camping LA PLENITUDE — Hotel in Bagnères-de-Bigorre

We picked Camping la Plenitude in Capvern les Bains for a 2 night caravan stop because it was about halfway between Bilbao (where our ferry docked) and Arles (our final destination) and less that 10k from E80/A64 La Pyreneenne autoroute. It is a delightful small site and we only wished we had been able to stay longer and explore the area. Many of our fellow residents appeared to be regulars who were making an annual visit to the thermal baths in the town. This lent a very friendly atmosphere to the site and, though we were probably the only English speaking residents at that time, we somehow ended up at a camp site party for all the regular guests, consuming pizza and rum and orange ! The toilet/shower/dish washing facilities were immaculately maintained and the pizza and chips from the Epicerie just across from our pitch were excellent. We loved this site. ! JE VOUS DÉCONSEILLE FORTEMENT LE CAMPING DE LA PLÉNITUDE !

Nous avions loué une semaine dans l’hébergement insolite au clair de bulle en espérant passer une semaine agréable en famille mais rien ne s’est passé comme prévu…

À l’arrivée, pas d’état des lieux rentrant, un accueil très froid et pressé de la part de la propriétaire Caroline. Nous avions choisi cet hébergement pour son concept permettant d’observer les étoiles la nuit mais dès le premier jour, lors de l’ouverture de la bâche de protection, nous nous sommes fait « engueuler » par Laurent qui entre deux noms d’oiseau nous a formellement stipuler qu’il était interdit d’ouvrir la bulle par temps de pluie… Le concept de base est donc inexistant, très déçu par l’hébergement.

Mais malheureusement ça ne s’arrête pas là… La plafond en toile est moisis et fuit, laissant ainsi pénétrer de l’eau sur les couchages et sur le parquet moisissant !

Concernant le camping et ses hôtes : jamais un bonjour de la part des propriétaires, une absence totale d’infrastructures pour enfant (alors que leur site mentionne la présence de jeu gonflable, ceux-ci ne sont jamais gonflé…), les horaires de piscine n’ont jamais été respectées, l’absence totale d’animation, seulement deux douches et deux toilettes pour un total de 38 emplacements, un camping très mal situé loin de toute commodités !!

En conclusion, la météo pas très clémente n’est certainement pas de la faute des propriétaires mais la politesse et la qualité de ce camping l’est !! Tout...
