Chateau de la Ferriere — Hotel in Bayeux

Certainly one of the nicest places I have ever been to. The room is great: perfectly comfortable bed, high ceilings, huge windows, extraordinary garden view, small sofa, a bouquet of fragrant roses from the castle garden, really nice furniture, wooden floor... The bathroom is outstanding: huge window, big towels, huge bathtub, perfect shower, nice marble... Free parking in front of the door. The garden/ parc is amazing: forest with old trees, english style lawn, nicely arranged sculptures, flowers and hedges, fragrant roses, a heated pool with poolhouse, cold beverages, outdoor shower, comfortable deck chairs, soft towels... A nice galary right in the entrance makes me feel comfortable from the first moment on: handpicked art pieces, lovely arranged sculptures, pictures, lamps and furniture, each piece seems to have its perfect place, perfect mix of new and old... Everything was just perfect at this beautiful chateau. The room was thoughtfully decorated, incredibly spacious and very comfortable.

Our hosts were so gracious and charming - taking very good care of us with a delightful breakfast and evening drinks on the terrace.

We hope to be back one day...
