We would give 0 stars if we could. The whole idea for us with booking this place was to have an experience different to our usual staying, somewhere closer to nature. The pics on booking and online are so misleading. There is literally one tent on top of the other with not even some area out of the tent to sit. But being forced to be inside the tent didnât make it any better as they have a really bad mold smell which was serious issue. There is no contact with nature experience as this is in between two other populated sites, the best you get is a bit of grass if you walk far enough from the row of tents. There is not even snacks for sale, and this is very far from any place, def need a car. So we went to bed hungry to try get some sleep. Not only you pay an exorbitant price for a molded tent in the middle of nowhere, to hear the snoring of your neighbour you also have to pay an extra 10 euros for bedding and another 8 euros for two towel. So for us it added up to nearly 100 euros for the worst night we ever had. The only positive for us is that luckily we only book one night. We were packing and leaving by 5am, way earlier than planned. Most disappointing experience we had in a what was until this point an amazing trip. Avoid...
Read moreAfter a few days of road trip in the north of Spain, we stayed in the Aparra Surfcamp. We arrived late and the staff allowed us to do a late check-in, something for which we are grateful. However, we did not expect the tents to be as unprepared and unequipped as we found them. The floor of some of the tents which are not built on top of wooden platforms is irregular and, walking barefoot it is not comfortable to encounter rocks when walking inside the tent. Also, we were not provided with bed linens, for which we were asked to pay extra 15âŹ, and had to sleep on top of low-quality mattresses. Thank god we carried sleeping bags with us. Furthermore, the tents are not provided with any type of heating system, unlike other tents in which we had stayed in the north of Spain. The night temperatures dropped below 10ÂșC inside of the tent which is not acceptable for any accommodation. There are no chairs nor tables inside or outside the tents and cutlery, dishes, etc are also not provided⊠Lastly, the communal bathrooms are badly equipped with no hairdryer and the camp is not close to the sea whatsoever, being at least 2km away from the...
Read moreA beautiful place. They have a great citchen for cooking outside. Tee and coffee for free. It is around 25 minutes to walking to the Atlantic ocean where you can swimming for free.đđđ On the other side the Showers and Toilets was mostly not really clean. And the prize 25 Euro per night for a night in on weekends - sleeping in a big tend in a room for 10 people is a bit high but of course less expensive than others in the area. What I' m missed there is they have no print out out service. (This is important for travellers for booking flght or other tickets and a printer is realy cheap.) If you want stay there don't forget to bring your own food. There you can buy nothing and the shops are far away (of course mostly some " left overs" there).
You will have Bus example number 35 in some minutes distance. But when you have to leave before 7. am could be a problem it will expensive with taxi iven to get one...
