My wife and I spent three wonderful nights here with our daughter and son-in-law. They have stayed here several times in the past and were completely justified (and enthusiastic) in choosing this again for our visit. It sits in a very quaint farming community. We heard no noises, traffic is just residential. There are wheat and sunflower fields all around that make for scenic walking - we did an 8km loop around them and through the town.|We were given the upstairs room. It is tastefully furnished with newer chairs, beds and TV. There is a small walk in closet for two suitcases full of clothes and a bathroom with shower. Very comfortable and quiet.|Corine had breakfast laid out each morning with a spread of fruit, cheeses, cereals, croissants and bread. She brewed each cup of coffee individually and they were superb.|Jacques cooked one of our evening meals. (This was a requested extra to the lodging and breakfast). Our son-in-law informed me that he has had no formal chef training, but this meal was 5-star quality. There was no menu or choice, we had what he prepared. It...
Read moreBeautiful, quiet place to stay close to Beaune. Pool was refreshing, garden was proper and we were welcomed with our dog who had pleasure to play in garden with owner’s dog. Room had a lot spider web but I never saw hyper clean place in France so I will ignore cleanliness. To be fair, bathroom was pretty cIean.. Overall there was a certain sense that place belongs to owners which decreases the feeling of being relaxed and feeling welcomed there. For example we had a shower gel when we entered the room which somehow was taken back when we came back in the evening. This created a sense of being intervened rather than being welcomed so it was irritating to say the least. Breakfast was okay but thanks to bees I could not get taste of it much :) I regret that we did not reserve in advance for dinner ( be aware that you need to inform them 2 days in advance and we were not communicated on this) there as it is quite far in terms of finding nice spots to eat but...
Read moreThis is by far one of the best places you can stay in France. Everything is perfect - where should I start? The pool is a super clean salt water pool with a perfect temperature, the breakfast is typically french, with the best croissants, baguette and organic confiture, the rooms are spacious and super clean with air condition and directly located facing the pool. The hosts are doing everything they can to make your stay perfect and they exceed any expectations you might have. You can have a wine tasting on site with the hosts and buy local wines for great prices directly there. If you ask for a "table d'hotes", you will get the opportunity to taste amazing homemade cuisine in the nice garden, enjoying some great wine and just getting the best experience of burgundy. If you are looking for a place to relax and enjoy in France - this is it. Thank you Jacques & Corinne for your...
