A wonderful welcome by the owner, Jean-Philippe, who immediately made us feel at home! After being given help with our luggage, we were given a tour of the grounds which included plenty of quiet sitting areas and shown the wonderful swimming pool and hot-tub, both available for guests, including the use of beach towels. ||||Our room was beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean and the attached large bathroom and separate toilet made it feel more like a suite than merely a bedroom. The sitting area outside the room reserved for breakfast was charming. Plenty of information about Belfort and local restaurants was available and offered by Jean-Philippe. Wi-fi connection was excellent.||||Breakfast was a simple but delightful experience! Home made bread and jams, croissants, orange juice and as much coffee/tea as you wanted.||||Altogether a wonderful experience at extremely reasonable rates. We would definitely recommend and stay at "Au Bout du...
Read moreWe stayed for a 2 night stop as break from driving from the South to the north of France.||We pleasantly surprised, it was in a lovely quiet location with beautiful gardens which we were free to make use of. The back garden having a swimming pool- too chilly to use and a jacuzzi that we did take advantage of. The property has 3 rooms, attached to the main house but separate entrance. The rooms were all beautifully but simply decorated and fitted to a very high standard. Large comfortable bed. Free Wifi. There was also a dining area for breakfast where you were served with beautiful home made bread and jams. There was also a kettle, microwave and fridge for your use, very handy when travelling and taking goods home from holiday!||Our hosts were very helpful, providing useful information on where to visit, eat etc and obviously justifiably proud of their home. ||Would have no hesitation in recommending a stay here and would certainly return for...
Read moreThe location is great, close to nature and quiet. Rooms are very nice, clean and nicely furbished. There is even a pool and a jacuzzi, but I visited in spring and it was too cold outside to use them. The hosts are very nice and live in the same house.||Breakfast was disappointing. I know French tend to have a small breakfast, consisting mostly of something sweet, but considering they are so close to the German border and catering for tourists, they could offer a more varied breakfast.||We only had bread, butter and jam, orange juice and coffee or tea. I would have liked something hearty, like some cheese, as I do not like to eat very sweet in the morning.||All in all, the stay was very nice, the only negative for me was...
