Camping Gartempe — Hotel in Bellac

I regret giving 3 stars because I would like to give 5, but there are some aspects that should be improved. the place where we stayed was full of sinkholes, the pool is good and the water is super hot, but because it wasn't supervised there were some things wrong, people dived really hard into the water which splashed all the people who were lying there next to it. standing and on one of the days there was a group of teenagers who didn't even seem to be staying at the campsite playing with a ball and they even threw the ball against some people and a baby several times. the bathroom should be cleaned more often a day. the sinks for washing clothes and dishes were not well divided and the water came out with so much pressure that we were completely wet. But on the other hand the staff was super friendly, you can play mini golf and other games for free, you can order bread for breakfast the next day. A lovely campsite, very well run by the hosts. They are extremely friendly and helpful. The site itself is immaculately clean and tidy, with the extensive grounds well manicured. The bar area is welcoming with a terrace overlooking the river. We were able to use the games room to access the wifi hotspot. Our Gite was very spacious with all that we needed. We particularly enjoyed sitting out on the terrace. It was convenient to have access to the shops and restaurants of the town within easy walking distance - a must for us. Great little gem of a campsite! Lovely view from the bar overlooking the Gartempe River and swimming pool. The bar closes from Monday to Wednesday during low season.
