Cottages de Garrigue — Hotel in Bergerac

We have just returned from the best holiday at Cottages de Garrique. We stayed in Cottage Josephine and our friends were in the other two cottages. All were stylish, comfortable and had everything we needed. We loved the fact that there were so many different areas to sit and relax, as well as lots of areas to eat. The hammocks were a hit! It was extremely hot while we were there so we were so grateful that the pool area had shaded areas as well as plenty of sun. The children were never bored as there were so many things to play with from the table tennis, darts, jenga etc in the barn, to indoor games, pool toys and DVDs when they needed some shade. We have been to rural France many times and it can be very quiet in the towns, but Eymet was buzzing. There are so many bars and restaurants to choose from, we couldn't believe it. They were packed every night. We had the added bonus of being there when Andy and Neil were DJing at a local event. They had everyone dancing. All in all, we couldn't have wished for better and would recommend a stay...

My wife and I stayed at the Cottages de Garrique as part of a Yoga retreat in October. We had a great break there. They are surrounded by idyllic countryside whilst still being easy to find. The cottages are well equipped and stylishly designed with modern kitchen and bathroom fittings. WiFi signal and speed is excellent (for the heart of the French country). I didn't get in the pool but its position is excellent with lots of places to sit or stretch out on the loungers. There are also lots of other seated (and covered) areas around the large gardens. We enjoyed toasting marshmallows on the fire-pit and relaxing in the barn. Great credit also has to go to Andy and Neil (plus Rex the dog!) who were great hosts, looking after us, whilst still giving us privacy when...

Absolutely superb accommodation run by 2 of the nicest people you could wish to meet. Andy and Neil have a beautiful place here with excellent accommodation which is clean and caters for all your needs. The pool area is so relaxing and the grounds are so tranquil.Eymet is just a short car drive away on very quiet roads and there is plenty to do around the area including vineyard tours etc. Spent a week here with my family as a 60th birthday present and it is certainly one of the best presents I have ever had .You will not be disappointed if you book here that's for sure .Thank-you Andy and Neil for making our week...
