Tranquil, rural and rustic. Green woodpeckers and jays in the trees, with birdsong from dawn to dusk. Moon shadows and skies full of stars at night. Space to roam and enjoy the fresh air. Enchanting walking trails from the doorstep and great access by bike or car to some of the best locations in the Dordogne region. The beautiful Bastide town of Monpazier is less than 3km away, and could easily be all you'd need.
Maison Secrète has been created and maintained conscientiously in regard to the local environment and sustainability. The apartments are stylish, comfortable, lofty spaces. Well equipped for cooking, great shower. Suitable for all ages.

Read moreOur family spent a wonderful week in one of Gillian and Phil's apartments. The place is very comfortably furnished and stylishly modern. The surrounding grounds are tranquility personified. There is the bonus of a great pool which was kept spotlessly clean and has the advantage of a pool alarm, which gives peace of mind for those with small children. Gillian and Phil couldn't be more accommodating and were the perfect hosts. The location is great for exploring the Dordogne region with plenty of things to do for all ages. Monpazier itself is only a 5 minute car journey or a 20 minute walk. Apart from it being a beautiful medieval Bastide town, it also has all the shops, cafes, bars and restaurants you could need. I can't recommend it...
