Chambres d'hôtes les Denias — Hotel in Blaye

This place was perfect for our requirements. The host was wonderful, just the right amount of introduction at the reception.

We chose this place because we wanted secure parking, the parking isn't completely inaccessible, but the Chambre D'Hotel is well off the beaten path.

We arrived on the hottest day of the year. The host introduced us to the room and advised were turn on the air conditioning so the room would be nice and cool when we returned from driving into Blaye to have dinner. The room was already a nice temp compared to the unbearable heat outside.

This room is in the top floor, newly renovated. This room is dark as there is only a small window and a small Velux. Not a problem for me, I like it dark.

At first I was concerned it might not be high end enough for me, but It was excellent and perfect for our purposes. We arranged to not have breakfast before arriving.

I would certainly choose this Les Denias over any competition in this area because our short stay was exactly what we were...

Set in a lovely location surrounded by vineyards. Beautifully kept garden and spacious, pretty rooms with a large comfy bed, sofa, tv, dining and cooking area. Lovely walk in shower and all extremely clean and well presented. The dinner was home cooked authentic Franch food and absolutely delicious, the wine was from a local vineyard (which we liked so much we also visited) and the breakfast was traditional continental with homemade jams and freshly made orange juice. This B&B is in real pretty countryside, but it was not easy to find in the dark.
