The chalet was very welcoming - the family running it make a point of starting a log fire in the evenings to ensure a warm welcome greets arriving guests. They are also available during breakfast time to offer any advice and information about potential plans and the local area. The chalet is quaint; the typical old-style of the region, not particularly slick or modern, but that is part of its charm. We had the adjoining rooms with a separate room for the kids. Size was reasonable for the alps, beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. The bathrooms were modular, small but with a good, hot shower. Parking was super easy. Breakfast was fine, reasonable coffee, some fresh fruit, good, local bread and with a well-supplied kitchen at your service, you could organize additions to your breakfast or prepare lunches or dinners should you choose. Read moreWe stayed at Chalet l'Aiglon during February half term for a family skiing holiday.||||The welcome was warm, the room and bathrooms were clean and in good condition. The rooms are not large but sufficient in size.||||There was a lounge area with open fire and a great selection of books about the Mont Blanc area.||||Breakfast was nice with a selection of breads, croissants, cereals, yoghurts and jams to name a few. Nutella was also available which kept the children happy!||||Parking was plentiful and it was a 3 minute drive to the town or the local free bus stop was about 100m from the Chalet.||||The owner (Julien) was helpful for any questions we had.||||The kitchen was well equipped for preparing an evening meal (Oven, Hob & Microwave).||||Overall a nice Chalet close to the ski lift.
