Evasion Mont Blanc — Hotel in Bonneville

Highly recommended ski resort. They are having (if I remember correctly) more than 90 different tracks from green to diamond. Each differently challenging. Even on our last day, we've discovered new tracks. Sometimes they were closed due to bad weather conditions or due to the lack of snow (march). Lots of different shops can be found on the bottom of the mountain and lots of Hütten are on top. All in all - great...

Das Beste zuerst: traumhafter Blick auf das Mont Blanc Massiv! Einfach atemberaubend! Wir hatten ein tolles Appartement direkt in Le Bettex an der Piste; also eine tolle Ausgangslage zum Skifahren. Das Skigebiet Mt. Arbois, Mont Joly und St. Nicolas ist jedoch von einem modernen Skigebiet mit ausreichender Liftkapazität weit entfernt. Das ist gerade noch 90iger Standard. Es gab nur drei bis max. 4 leistungsfähige Sessellifte und viel zu viele Tellerlifte. Dafür noch lahme 2er Sessellifte aus den 80/90igern! Die Warterei war manchmal nervend. Das ist für die Skipass-Preise einfach nicht zeitgemäß, sondern überteuert. Das Skigebiet ist von den Pisten ansonsten sehr abwechslungsreich! Leider kann man den Verbundskipass nicht richtig ausnutzen, da es keine Skischaukel gibt. Daher leider nur 3 Sterne. Wir hatten dennoch einen tollen Skiurlaub, da die französische Gastfreundschaft...

Seeing the mountain slops in a summer month was surprising refreshing, the winter ski season is great of courses but the summer walks or hacks are just excellent up there with the view of mont blanc still full of snow! Peaceful as one could expect...
