This was our mid way stopover, driving from the North to the South of France, Marie was very welcoming, travelling with our 2 kids (5&8), the pool was nice after a long drive.|We had 2 rooms next to each other upstairs.|The grounds are beautifully maintained , so are the house and the rooms.|They each had an ensuite shower and toilet, tv and small desk.|There‘s a little common area just for guests on the ground floor, with couches,coffee machine, sink, small fridge. There is also a sitting area upstairs on the landing which is like a mezzanine. There were complimentary drinks on offer in the fridge incl water which was a nice touch.|Their 2 dogs were beautiful & friendly.|The spacious parking is inside the property, it can handle 6 cars comfortably.|We didn’t opt for the dinner or have the breakfast ( incl) as we had to leave at 6 am the next morning to avoid traffic.|The only 2 things I would remark is the smell of cigarette smoke in the common downstairs area which rose to the top landing and throughout the hallway leading to the rooms. We kept the room doors closed to avoid it getting into the rooms but it still creeped in.|The 2nd thing is, it was quite hot, with the warmer weather outside, the rooms got hot despite keeping everything closed during the day and they didn’t really cool off at night even with the windows wide open.|There was 1 very big fan and 1 portable AC available but we didn’t ask to use them as they were quite cumbersome. |We had a tower fan with us ( as we are used to french places not having AC so we bring our own everywhere we go) so we used that. It was still hot.|With summers getting warmer and warmer hopefully upgrades like combination electric heater/Ac units is something the owners will consider... ( this goes for all french bed’n...

Situated in a very upmarket residential area with the streets lined with large villas/houses in private gated gardens.Very modern, built seven years ago more in the Scandinavian style. Lovely gardens with beautiful flowers and small swimming pool. English spoken. Fridge, microwave and tea and coffee making facilities for guests use in the entrance hall. Cars parked in the grounds behind large security gates. Lovely walks nearby with fabulous views over Lyon great for our dog who could be let off the lead. Evening dinner which has to be prebooked in advance taken sitting round the communal table in the kitchen with the other guests. Great value at 25 euro per person including drinks, lovely home made food from local ingredients. Continental breakfast with home made jams etc 8 euro per person, no charge for our dog. All very well furnished and clean, our only complaint being the rooms and bathrooms were very small, no place for luggage and hooks for hanging, not much space on the floor for the dog. All the amenities are there including extra beverages and an espresso machine for our use. Wifi only worked in the lobby. Lovely garden. Rooms were very nice and clean as were the bathrooms. Quiet location. 30 min. to airport. Highly recommended....
