Details. Everything is in the details of this place. We returned home feeling rested, well-fed and pampered. Linn has gone above and beyond to supersede every expectation to make a family vibe 5 star experience. Matt, the chef, is very very talented and the rest of the staff came alongside to truly make an unforgettable trip for our group. New amazing friendships were made and existing relationships went deeper.

Yes the beds were comfy, and the rooms and pool were clean and the staff were friendly. But we all expect that on a vacation right? What blew our minds was: The serenity and history of the property. The surrounding vineyards as we took daily walks or bike rides. The presentation of the amazing food (can’t stress enough how much we appreciated real clean food). The thoughtfulness of the selected shampoos, conditioners and toothpaste tablets. The organization of the daily excursions. The amazing yoga platform overlooking the vineyards. The thoughtfulness of the selected biological clean wines. The genuine spirit of Linn and the rest of the team.

I stayed at Bastide Avellane with a group of 14 during our Yoga Retreat. The owner, Linn, is a beautiful soul. She is committed to the environment and to maintaining this lovely space so that those that visit can enjoy peace, tranquility, amazing food and drink, spaces filled with positive vibes, and beautiful excursions. Sara and Lee, who work and live at the Bastide Avellanne, are also amazingly wonderful, helpful, caring, and genuinely kind and helpful people. They work very hard to make sure every guest has the best experience. Rafael did an amazing job taking care of us as well. I unfortunately cannot recall the name of the chef, he was shy, but shined in his ability to create amazing meals for us each day. The attention to every detail is just beyond words. My friends and I stayed at the Bastide for week and it was just perfect! Bastide Avellanne is a beautiful property with several villas, a pool, tennis, and a yoga\workout studio. The grounds are peaceful and beautifully maintained with gardens and trails through the surrounding vineyards.||The owner\host, Linn, thinks of everything to make you fell welcome and at home. ||We did several of the excursions offered and enjoyed them all. The Gorge Verdon was beautiful and relaxing. Cassis was also a lovely day of shopping at the market, wine and lunch, followed by a swim in the Mediterranean. ||The Bastide is a lovely bed and breakfast that offers the most delicious home made french delites!
