My husband and I stayed at "La Campagne" near Cotignac for 4 days and had a wonderful time. Laurence greeted us with a glass of rosé and helped us to get oriented in the area. The days began with breakfast at a long wooden table on the terrace and included homemade baked items and unusual but delicious jams, such as zucchini, lemon, and green tomato. On one evening, we lounged in the lawn chairs and saw at least a dozen shooting stars. Another evening we enjoyed a bottle of rosé from the purview of a hammock in the woods behind the house. This place was recommended by some friends and we decided to spend a night while touring Lake Sainte Croix. Beautiful country house, done with a lot of passion and good taste. Laurence is a wonderful host who would guide you to your room and give you any needed instructions. Room was spotless with two windows that opened to the beauty of Provence. The reception area has a fridge with a variety of drinks to just pick up and deposit the cost in a basket. Available are also a selection of homemade terrines and jams to buy. The breakfast which was served in the garden was a full loaded selection of cereals, cakes, fruits.... and a dozen or so selection of jams and marmelades made by Laurence herself. We came to Cotignac for a friend's wedding and completely fell in love with Cotignac and this B&B. We were immediately taken by the views and the warm welcome from the owners. It was calm and cozy. Just what we needed to relax and enjoy all that Cotignac has to offer. ||||The breakfasts offered were FANTASTIC. We were given our own carafes of coffee and orange juice and there was a lovely spread of granola, fresh and dried fruit and nuts, yogurt, cereals, breads, jams, and fresh eggs made to order.
