Camping Le Pont D'Allagnon — Hotel in Brioude

Liked: Ideal location for a stopover just a few minutes from the A75 near an attractive and authentic village. Lots of ‘added extras’ like a pool, sports courts, games room etc which I am sure the children all love. Good sized pitches, and nice to have the sound of the river in the background.

Disliked: Facilities are dated. Loo paper is outside of the toilets and the (empty/broken) liquid soap is on the outside wall of the toilet block?! There had been some rain the day we arrived, but my goodness the pitches were muddy. So much dirt now everywhere on our belongings and campervan! Probably not a good location in autumn or during...

What a cracking camp site this is Large pitches with fast free WiFi Close to the river and a clear stream that our little dog loved , swimming pool , Bar and snack bar Close to A75 we used it has a stop over on way back from Spain but ended up stopping 6 nights I loved this site has they were all for looking after Nature little log piles every where for the butterfly’s insects hedgehogs There is a rabbit enclosure on the site that you can feed that are adorable, Goats too and not forgetting the free roaming chickens that came onto our pitch Lots of walking along the river which is well looked after We will...

Liked: Set in lovely countryside but with easy access from the A75. Good size flat pitches with hedges between each one. A simple restaurant on site still open till mid September. While a very limited selection in the village, there is plenty of alternative restaurants within 10km.

Disliked: Its a bring your own loo roll site! The timer on the lights in the toilet block is a bit short if you are the first person in the showers of a morning you have the run the water quite a while for the hot to come through. As a result the lights go out before you have...
